Summary: LOVE IT! I love this projector!!! We have about 30 projectors in our office that we loan to staff for their various presentations but since I present more then most and am in charge of these puppies anyways, I ordered myself a short throw (everyone else gets regulars).
Summary: I give it one star because none is not an option. Setup instructions not helpful. Once I got it on, the display had vertical white lines every 1/4". Could not find a troubleshoot suggestion. Returned.
Summary: thanks to this guy i have the biggest TV in college. worked great out of box, nothing really to set up. i have it projecting onto a cloth painters drop cloth pinned to the wall and looks good.
Summary: I use this in my classroom. The short throw is nice, as I place it about 3-4 ft from the screen and get the same size image as if it were 8 -10 ft away. The projector produces a nice, bright clear, picture and I don't always need to close the blinds or shades on the windows.
Summary: This projector was great when I first got it. The lamps are very expensive to buy as well, because the lamp life isn't so great. It over heats really fast. Not for excessive use, obviously. I learned the hard way.
Summary: I got this projetor to use it with my VIP 3D Theater. Let me tell you something guys! AMAZING...!!! With 5000:1 contrast ratio and 2500 lummens. You can't go wrong... even using this as an entry level projector.
Summary: We bought this to replace a very old long throw projector for our church sanctuary. The old projector had developed a yellow spot in the middle taking up about 50% of the image, which was more than a little annoying. It was mounted at the back of the sanctuary with roughly 200' to the screen.
