Summary: Personal Experience Super for Home theaters.. i have it for past 3 year, have watched atleast 100 moves so far ( by connecting normal DVD player with either S Video or normal composite video), and also have watch 3-4 hr long T20 Cricket Matches during IPL (using Dish TV - composite video ) Everyone in the family has thoroughly enjoyed it. However I now have purchased a blue ray player, and confused on how to pass the signal to projector !
Summary: Personal Experience I've had this projector for almost three years and have been using it for watching movies, music visualizations and videogames (PS2 and Wii) and it's been a blast! The projector will even downscale from my 1440 x 1050 desktop (according to the manual, highest supported is 1280 x 1024). The only small complaints I have is that: 1. Green doesn't look very pure. 2. The buttons on the remote do not respond sometimes. 3.
Summary: Personal Experience I have been using this projector in a classroom setting for several months and I am quite pleased. Compared to the Dell 3200 we have the BenQ has a larger projection area for the same distance and is brighter. The remote is conducive to making powerpoints presentations from anywhere in the room. I have also used it for showing DVD movies. For the money you can't beat it and thats on the bulb economy mode !!
Summary: Personal Experience This is an excellent low end projector. I project a 106" image on a white wall with excellent results. Not so good in moderate light but great for home theater room. A little red in the teeth but hardly noticable if you're really watching the movie. Problems I use a Harmony remote and the protect code doesn't wotk on the Harmony. Everything else is great.
Summary: Personal Experience A great projector for home theater. The quality of the picture on my 6'10" x 8'10" homemade screen is awesome. The Nintendo Wii looks so real I'll never go to the bowling alley again. At $565 why would anybody buy a t.v. of any kind? Problems Uses a 15-pin d-sub input for the RGB component cable inputs. Requires additional conversion cable of a few dollars.
