Great projector. Get the Go Universal app!

Shane S., Newegg
17 January 2013
  • Summary: Paired with the Go Universal app, this projector is awesome!
  • Pros: Portable, Apple compatible
  • Cons: This projector has limited projection capability unless you download Go Universal from the App Store. The app really unlocks some great features that you would not be able to do normally. For instance, project single pictures (not just pictures in slide show mode), PDFs, presentations, web sites,...

pretty good features, my price was awesome

Adam C. Grace, Amazon
5 June 2012
  • Summary: I picked this up from woot for $280, so really at that price point it is hard to complain. The projector, in my basement, projected on a real projector screen, with some background lighting does a great job. With all the lights off and in a real movie setting, its awesome for the price.

The BenQ Joybee GP2 is a powerhouse of a projector.

BRUCE, Amazon
5 June 2012
  • Summary: Roughly, the size of some of the gadget mini projectors seen in catalogs and high-tech stores, the BenQ Joybee GP2 delivers crisp, bright HD images. This little dynamo has a form factor of 5.5x5x2 inches making it travel friendly, especially with its included carrying case.

  • Summary: Amazing projector if you're not planning to use it at a church or other big venue. Bright colors, great hd image, and gives you a bigger picture from close range compared to other high-end projectors.

Nice projector

Dr Arbiser Alejandro, Amazon
26 May 2012
  • Summary: Everything is O.K. with this projector but I dont like these two facts: 1> It has an ultra wide-angle lens: You need to install this projector very near the screen ! 2>It does not accept "*.MPG" format films so I needed to convert all the films in my pendrive I used with the first model "(the GP1")...

We like it for business

royenviro, Amazon
26 May 2012
  • Summary: I bought this for MacBook Pro for presentations, the HDMI connector works well with the Mac but the USB streaming is not possible with the Mac. We chose to load up a 16 GB card to keep in the unit itself and together with the optional battery pack we have a great compact presentation device.

Neat little gadget

Personne, Amazon
25 April 2012
  • Summary: This little projector may be just the ticket for converting a spare room into a temporary media center. It might also fill a gap for presenters of various sorts. But an understanding of its strengths and weaknesses are important to get the most out of it.
