Summary: I am a teacher that travels to different buildings during the school day and was in need of something that was portable and easy to set up. This little projector does a good job meeting those needs. The projector itself is very small. About the size of a CD case and a couple of inches thick. It comes with a vinyl case that would be great except that the power cord and block are substantial. Combine that with the adaptor cord and it is hard to get it all into the case.
Design flaw in proprietary cable renders projector useless

Summary: Really loved this projector when we first got it. Unfortunately, after only a few months of use, we started getting a magenta hue - clear sign of a faulty cable. Problem .... the cable is proprietary, only manufactured for this projector, and no longer in production or available. No worries - the projector is still under warranty, so I can get an RMA replacement, right? Wrong ...
Summary: Great little projector, perfect for my needs. Connected right to my laptop without a hitch. While not nearly as bright as some of the larger projectors Asus makes, it is the perfect travel companion.
Summary: This projector is the perfect answer for all of you out there looking for a massive viewing screen without paying a massive price! I have used this projector for everything from playing Xbox 360 to viewing movies and even watching sporting events and couldn't be happier. Yes, you may need to buy an adaptor or two along with speakers, but for the price you just can't beat the Asus P1!
Summary: Delivers as promised. Very small, easy to take anywhere. The only drawback is that it (like ALL pico projectors) is not as bright as the bigger models. But that is the tradeoff you make - size vs. illumination. It still more than does the job, is simple to use and offers the very convenient/helpful "lift." I would recommend it.
