Summary: I wanted to update my previous review, but I couldn't find an edit button so here goes my second review of this projector after a little over one year of use. After a year of using this projector I am very happy with the purchase.
Pros: Bright Sharp/Clear HD picture Inexpensive Lots of inputs 3D Adjustable zoom / throw distance
Excerpt: This is in my opinion the best 3D projector for its price and specs. I have used it for several months now both as a home cinema and education. I simply wanna buy another one permanently for my home cinema. With my Air conditioner on it can run continuously without heating up.
Summary: If you have a dedicated movie room with little sun, get a LED one. Less bright but quieter and less hot.
Pros: Picture quality is excellent. The first one I received had specs on the lens. I learned you needed to call Newegg to get free shipping for a replacement. You cannot do it online. They sent me another one without problems.
Cons: Loud and hot. That can be expected with a DLP this bright though.
Side by side this projector was just as good as the professional model

Summary: My family is in the entertainment industry, so they'd loaned me a projector to test prior to purchasing mine. I ended up not choosing the professional model because of price, and went with this model instead.
Summary: Unless you're looking for 4K image quality this projector will be hard to beat. I do not use the speakers on the projector, but for the short time I did use them during the test of the system they were pretty basic.
Pros: In my opinion you will have a hard time beating the image quality of this projector without going well over $1000. I project on a base level screen and the image is as clear as my 46" HD TV in my living room.
Summary: Excellent product. This is my first projector. I installed it connected via hdmi to a Yamaha RX-V673 receiver.I then receive OTA TV thru a home theater PC running a Hauppage card. Everything driven by a Harmony 1000 remote with a Harmony IR blaster.
Cons: Not many. Only things I'm wondering about after 15 months use are: does 60hz vs 120hz matter on projectors? Blacks are hard to make out in some movies. If you don't have an IR blaster one CON could be that the IR sensor is on the front only, which would suck if you're sitting behind it.
Summary: I highly recommend the service plan if you are going to be getting heavy use out of this thing. We have ours playing 10 hours/day during the weekend so all the room mates can watch sports and in less than a year I have almost used half my estimated battery life.
Pros: High quality picture Easy setup Great for gaming! (I cannot stress this enough as it was the reason I bought this projector over others. The clarity and focus is off the charts. The response time is not noticeable at all.) Multiple picture options depending on what is showing on the screen, ie sp...
Cons: Takes about 10 second to change channels because the projector has to process the image. Sometimes this does not happen. Seems to only happen when shows are not during commercial break although I definitely cannot confirm this. Sometimes I have problems getting sound to play from my laptop, throu...
Summary: Simply superb on the 1080 HD performance.!! I also ordered a Ben Q W1070 along with this one to compare picture quality. But after projecting 98" using HDMI signal from my Yamaha tuner, noticed that the Acer beats down BenQ by leaps and bounds in the resolution and color quality.
Summary: Personal Experience great 3D and 3D conversion ,really good Contrast very bright good color but not LCD colorm low noise video but on high its little noisy but acceptable. however the color wheel lamp are still exposed to cooling stream so dust is an issue a common DLP problem so not for dusty...
