CharlieMbro "Give me Beatles or Blu ray and I..., Amazon
28 March 2014
Summary: Recently bought this projector as my first foray into the world of home cinema. I love it and get a great picture, screen size is huge, although currently running a 90 inch screen. This projector gets fantastic reviews on various sites on the net. I currently have my iPad, laptop and phone all connected to the projector. I also use my ps3 to play blu rays, connected via a 1.4 hdmi cable. However, I am unable to view any 3d movies, using dlp glasses.
Summary: No it dose not have many of the bells and whistles of the more expensive projectors but many of those are not needed anyway. If you want a 1080p projector that dose the job well and don't want to spend a lot of money doing it, this is it. I have checked reviews on other web sites ass well and have gotten the same results, GOOD. My only complaint is 1080p stretched out to 100" is not as good of a picture as it is on a smaller tv, but that's not the fault of the projector.
Excerpt: Bought this projector for our Mac user's group meetings. The image brightness, color intensity, and ease of use are fantastic. I see none of the color artifacts some people refer to. The images are razor sharp projecting 1080p films on a big screen. The presence of two HDMI inputs and an AUDIO OUT jack are particularly useful for those planning on using AirPlay from iOS devices and Apple TV.
Pros: Bright image, Easy To Set Up, Great Color Intensity, High Def 1080p Native
Cons: Case Seems Flimsy, No lens cap, Plastic Leveling Screw, Unpadded Nylon Carry Case
Excerpt: a good projector. very strong light due to its high lumens. the short coming is in that it is not short throw - I think a relatively small projector should be a short throw because they are meant to be used in small places; if you have a large space then the normal throw projector makes sense. another negative is that the lamp smells after 10 minutes of heating up. i'll wait for a short throw very portable LED hd projector!! there isn't any out yet!!
Summary: Pros Awesome picture quality Lots of options for color Easy setup Cons no horizontal keystone Screws for ceiling mount do not come with universal mount or projector 3D I have yet to try the 3D. It does not come with any glasses which I did not expect. Overall it is a great projector for any small theater and at a great bargain.
Summary: I'm not going to write the same review that others have already written. I'm going to write solely on my own experience. 1. I do notice flickering in 3D but only when the picture has white or very light areas. For example, a picture with the sky in the background may have flickering of the sky (but not the foreground). It's not too disturbing for the most part because movies don't consist of whiteness or completely bright pictures all the time.
Summary: A simple review. Pro, - Great for gaming as it produces a fanatic HD image. - 3-D ready although i will never use that feature. - 2 HDMI slots & many more other inputs means I have my PC and 2 consoles hooked up ready to go. Cons, Designed to be roof mounted, it does not have adjustable feet at the base corners. I use a phone book to position it correctly.
