Summary: Other than the sound processing going out and it being a PITA to get mounted it really isn't a bad projector. I just might get another one if the price is right.
Pros: Bright HD Picture is bright and clear even in moderately lit room. Multiple input types. Originally ordered screen but now I just fill the whole wall... will make customer screen eventually, but still looks great. 3D is cool and all but I haven't gotten the extra glasses for it.
Cons: HOT!!! Not to be unexpected with a projector. Exhausts out the front right vent so can be mounted in relatively tight recessed area. The mounting hole on this are just weird... I've bought two different "universal mounts" and had to buy special screws to mount to the 3 smaller holes and ended up ...
Excerpt: This is in my opinion the best 3D projector for its price and specs. I have used it for several months now both as a home cinema and education. I simply wanna buy another one permanently for my home cinema. With my Air conditioner on it can run continuously without heating up.
Summary: If you have a dedicated movie room with little sun, get a LED one. Less bright but quieter and less hot.
Pros: Picture quality is excellent. The first one I received had specs on the lens. I learned you needed to call Newegg to get free shipping for a replacement. You cannot do it online. They sent me another one without problems.
Cons: Loud and hot. That can be expected with a DLP this bright though.
Pros: Very good quality projector from a reliable brand. Have used it at 130" for almost 6 months now 5 hours a day. Picture is great even in a not blacked out room. No issues so far. Eco mode saves lamp life and the lamps aren't too expensive compared to some other projectors I've looked at.
Cons: Projector gets hot after about an hour, but that is normal. Fan in the projector isn't quiet, but isn't loud either. I will probably upgrade to a higher CFM, lower DB rated fan in the future when it comes time to replace the lamp. No issues so far.
Summary: First off, Before I bought this I had zero experience with projectors and now I have some. But when it comes to A/V and so on I have quite a bit, and to me I couldn't sacrifice HD it either is or it's not. So with that in mind I was considering my budget, value, and performance.
Summary: The mounting hole is very oddly off the center of gravity, but my existing mount still worked. I bought 3D glasses and wasn't impressed, but I've never tried 3D at home on another projector either.
Pros: Very nice picture. Incredible improvement in my dedicated theater over it's predecessor 720p InFocus projector. We haven't noticed or been bothered by the rainbow effect potential.
Cons: LOUD! I thought my old projector was loud, but it's right over our heads and this one is very distracting. Maybe we got a lemon??? I need to contact tech support. Unfortunately I bought it and immediately had a few weeks of business trips, so I didn't set it up until after it was too late to send...
Side by side this projector was just as good as the professional model

Summary: My family is in the entertainment industry, so they'd loaned me a projector to test prior to purchasing mine. I ended up not choosing the professional model because of price, and went with this model instead.
Summary: Unless you're looking for 4K image quality this projector will be hard to beat. I do not use the speakers on the projector, but for the short time I did use them during the test of the system they were pretty basic.
Pros: In my opinion you will have a hard time beating the image quality of this projector without going well over $1000. I project on a base level screen and the image is as clear as my 46" HD TV in my living room.
Summary: Excellent product. This is my first projector. I installed it connected via hdmi to a Yamaha RX-V673 receiver.I then receive OTA TV thru a home theater PC running a Hauppage card. Everything driven by a Harmony 1000 remote with a Harmony IR blaster.
Cons: Not many. Only things I'm wondering about after 15 months use are: does 60hz vs 120hz matter on projectors? Blacks are hard to make out in some movies. If you don't have an IR blaster one CON could be that the IR sensor is on the front only, which would suck if you're sitting behind it.
Summary: I highly recommend the service plan if you are going to be getting heavy use out of this thing. We have ours playing 10 hours/day during the weekend so all the room mates can watch sports and in less than a year I have almost used half my estimated battery life.
Pros: High quality picture Easy setup Great for gaming! (I cannot stress this enough as it was the reason I bought this projector over others. The clarity and focus is off the charts. The response time is not noticeable at all.) Multiple picture options depending on what is showing on the screen, ie sp...
Cons: Takes about 10 second to change channels because the projector has to process the image. Sometimes this does not happen. Seems to only happen when shows are not during commercial break although I definitely cannot confirm this. Sometimes I have problems getting sound to play from my laptop, throu...
