Summary: Writing from Bangalore, India. Ordered this item from Amazon.com and a friend carried this back to India. As a first time PJ user, I was in a confusion whether to go for a 1080p PJ or a 720p PJ. After doing all the research i decided to buy the Acer H5370BD - a 720p resolution PJ and today I absolutely do not regret on my decision, I do not see any reason to go for a 1080p PJ. This serves the purpose of a human eye fantastically well. An absolute value for money PJ!!!
Summary: This is working great! Seriously, for the price, it's a really good deal. Knowing that we're talking about a low price projector, this product is doing exactly what we are expecting from it! I have been using it almost it every day since, playing video games, watching movies, tv show and concerts! I'd be awesome with a sound output but apparently it does not exist.
Summary: Amazing! The picture quality is perfect and looks very crisp and just as good as any TV. I am just projecting onto a bedsheet, but it still looks really nice. The 3-D works great I like it more than passive 3-D in some ways. If you're looking for a good quality projector that does 3-D and native HD 720p under $500, this is the answer.
Summary: On a budget for a home theater this projector met my expectations. For $405 I now have a 140" 16:9 screen that also does 3d conversion with a touch of a button. Shoots 720 HD and the picture is sharp, bright and clear. I'm pretty picky about my electronics and tv viewing. I researched projector for about a month before pulling the trigger on this one. There is nothing remotely close to this projector for the price. Everyone who has seen my setup says wow !
Consider this instead of a TV for your home theatre

Summary: I bought this after spending quite a bit of time looking for a good deal on a TV or projector. I was open to either. I primarily watch sports or movies, but sometimes play XBox with it. Signals come from the XBox, Fios Cable box, or my laptop. All work great. 2 of my friends have a 55 and 60 inch TV and this just blows them away for watching the game. I have never used the 3D mode. No audio out is an inconvenience, but I just go direct from the source to my sound system.
Summary: I Got this to use with an Xbox and watch movies, and I never imagined it would look this good. Being that it is only 720p,(same output as the Xbox) I thought I would see pixels and need to be in a dark room, But sitting 10ft away with a 100in screen with normal room lighting I can't believe the quality of the image. Granted it does look even better with less lights on, but I don't feel I need to set in the dark to enjoy.
