Excerpt: I bought this for a friend, and I was impressed with its brightness. I use a full-sized 1080P projector on my 168" diagonal painted-on screen, and I found that the P300 managed to look pretty good with the same sized image. It needed a little tweaking to get the colors right, but after that it looked pretty good, with true HD performance. I'd say the only weak link is its anemic little built-in speakers, but with an audio-out jack that is easily remedied.
Pros: Fast Setup, Good Connection Options, Good Resolution
Cons: Confusing / Bad Remote Control, Poor Sound Quality
Excerpt: This is the first time I have purchased a work related projector for my Apple Laptop. I asked a few questions, and received great customer service and guidance. With this experience, I will not purchase from another company.
Pros: Attractive Design, Energy Efficient, Fast Setup, Great Picture Quality
Excerpt: Compact, great for travel & use on the go. Bright resolution even in a well-lit room. Can go up to 40-50" screen size without loosing brightness and clarity. Best Pico we've tried so far for business uses.
Pros: Fast Setup, Good Resolution, Great Picture Quality
Excerpt: I got this projector for one specific use but having unpacked it and trying it out, I can see so much more application than just that one intended use. Right out of the box, it's easy to use, everything it's reported as being in terms of CLARITY, SHARPNESS, size and portability without sacrificing quality. People who complain that it's plastic and subject to breaking because it's plastic apparently don't know how to take care of their things and are not careful.
Pros: Fast Setup, Good Connection Options, Good Resolution, Great Picture Quality
Summary: I was not expecting this great a picture. Worked quite well in a dim room and exceptional in the dark. It also goes larger than 120". Didn't have room to move back further to see just how large it would go and still be able to focus. The speaker is pretty useless as is the flimsy tripod.
Summary: Love it. good color and brightness even in room with moderate lighting. Nice detail, even when projected image is 7 feet across. Fan is a little loud when plugged in, but not bad. Significantly better than other Pico's I have tried.
Summary: The remote control is the main reason for the poor review. It's so cheap and terrible to use. The remote that came with the projector does not have the same buttons as the drawing of the remote in the manual. We also had a lot of problems getting the right file type to play, for something that we thought should be really easy to use.
Summary: Overall: It took me a while to warm up to this projector. It's a good thing that I bought it almost exclusively for the high lumens, because that's the only part where it shines. Pro: + You do not need a completely dark room. It is amazingly bright, in fact I'm thinking I could have saved money and gotten fewer lumens and been fine. + So small and light, I don't mind carrying it around.
Summary: I originally had the Brookstone pocket projector, which really was a marvel for its size, but it just didn't put out enough light and after a while, the screen door effect started to get to me. This was about $100 more and put out over 3x more light at a higher resolution. It was definitely much better visually. Good focus, better edges, same good color reproduction. Watched a couple movies and played some video games with good results.
