Summary: I have this and I still like it after about 80 hours of use. As mentioned by others, the display is only VGA so you can't expect laptop quality when projected 8 feet away. I actually use mine at up to 12 foot distance in a 80 to 90% darkened room.
Summary: For the price I could not have asked for more. The light is a little dim, but a dark enough room will fix that. I think it produces great quality when placed on a tripod. The only thing that i'm unpleased with is the connector cord is only 5", which means you will need to buy an extension for it.
Summary: I had wanted one of these for a while mainly to watch movies in flight. Projecting on to the seat in front of me vs. viewing on an Ipod screen was too much to resist. I had a $200 pricepoint and was tempted to get it and am pleased so far.
Summary: I have owned this projector for about 3 months now and absolutely LOVE it!!!! For starters look at the price! You cant touch a toy/kids projector much less professional projector for that kind of $$$!
Summary: This projector is great to have. I have it mounted on a gorillapod that's duct taped to a wall and use it to point at a wall at least 6 feet away. It's a great projector in the configuration I have it in, but don't dream of using it without a tripod.
Summary: I like what I've got. It is exactly what is intended for. A Small projector for small projects. You may use it for your own amusement, but it will not replace your 50" plasma TV, "Yet". Also, if you consider its limitations and advantages, you will find this projector to be very useful.
