  • Summary: Personal Experience I bought this *cheap* surplus, and it lasted a while. It's quite bright and can project a huge image on a wall. Problems Problems are that replacement bulbs cost about $1000. Good thing is that if you go look for user YWH on diyaudio.com, you might be able to replace just the burner for about $50. Otherwise, this projector simply isn't worth the bulb. Plus, it's enormous and heavy like a rock.

  • Summary: Personal Experience Absolutely stunningly bright pictures in broad daylight with the sun shining brightly through the window.Who needs plasma ? Problems The size and weight were totally unacceptable,it was as big as a desktop PC and no way could you feel comfortable carrying it around,it was just too damn heavy.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I got this projector for VERY cheap, and its great! It's extremely bright, and has a beautiful image, i personally use it for Home Theater and have it mounted. I was a little worried because it looked quite old and large, but dont be fooled, it truly is a quality machine despite its size. It's ideal for a home theater, and there is no need to turn the lights off, i can project a gorgeous image in a fully lit room.
