Summary: The projector overall is not horrible. It is easy to use and is very portable. The issues I have seen with it are this: The projector seems to have a cheap cooling system in it, and the lense is not easy to focus in at any reasonable distance. The fan is very loud and seems like it is working very hard.
Summary: I take care of Mom at her home in the evenings and at night, and her TV schedule is "The Golden Girls," "Everybody Loves Raymond," and "Frasier." This projector allows my husband and me to catch up on our Netflix shows that Mom wouldn't enjoy. It's a life saver!
A nice projector but don't get it if you need to use it with a VGA connector

Summary: This is an acceptable projector for darker rooms. The output is only 800x600 so don't expect your hi-rez screen to show. It is ideal for someone with an iPhone or iPad (4S or more recent), but the VGA cable that the writeup claims to be available is not. 3M no longer makes it. I got one by calling the repair department. They keep a very small stock to honor warranty purchases and they will not make any more, so once their stock is depleted, that's all there is.
Summary: Good quality product, connect very well with any Apple device (except new ones that have a lightning connection). Portable, the image is still bright but use it in complete dark for best results. The only drawback is about cables. Indeed, the device comes with an Apple connection cable for old version of Iphones and Ipads but not for computer.
Buyer Beware! Wish I'd read more Reviews before I wasted time and money!

Summary: This sleek little projector is impossible to use with a Mac. I bought the VGA cable recommended, but it turns out another ($90!) 3M cable and 3M adapter are actually what's needed.. These are almost impossible to find as the projector AND cable have been dicontinued. So I'm sending it and the useless VGA cable back. REALLY Disappointed!!
Amazon Sold Us A Discontinued Model That Does Not Work as Described.

Summary: Bought this as a birthday gift 3 weeks before my daughter's birthday. When we received it, the box said it works with MacPro. Nope! Does not -- unless you buy a cable that is no longer manufactured. 3M said I should return it to Amazon because it's an Out-of-date model, and that they no longer make the cable that works with the MacPro. I tried to return it to Amazon and they said I had it more than 30 days.
Summary: So... there is a reason this was on such a great sale... its cords connect to the iphone 4 and similar ipad.... which isn't a problem... it's fantastic for showing videos and the a/v aspect is incredible. (The cords not only showcase stellar video, but also transmit audio quite loudly). The only issue is that there is a 3m proprietary cord that connects the projector to a MacBook. The 3m vendor was out when I ordered my projector, and cancelled the order.
Summary: The Mp255a is inconvenient in some ways because it requires an extra cord purchase in order to use it with your laptop, but for an Apple enthusiast this is an excellent product, with its long battery life and portability. Point it toward the ceiling for a movie at the kids’ slumber party or take it with you on the road to show grandma the latest snapshots of the new baby. We think you can get a lot of enjoyment from this unit.

Summary: This was purchased for business purposes in order to provide a projector for the iPad to be used for presentations. What you don't know until you receive it is that it DOESN'T project unless you have a VGA cord which is no longer available because these are 'old' models. Yuk.
