Great Size and Easy Setup

Pastor Eddie, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: We used the product for a conference to avoid a hotel rental charge that was the same amount. It was easy to setup and gave a great view from all angles. Elite screens are a quality product for the price. B&H had this on catalog, but I was able to pick it up in person. On the phone and In person customer service at B&H was exceptional. Would definitely purchase from them again..

Elite Screens Tripod Portable Projection Screen

  • Summary: For the price, you won't find a larger more well made projection screen. It has the standard bright white surface with a border of light absorbing black. The 'keystone' arm pulls up out of the upper post and locks out horizontal to account for the projection angle being low. The screen is huge, well made, very adjustable and can be 'shrunk' down to 16:9 (96w x 56t), and an 8' wide screen is awesome.

User Review

  • Summary: This 8'x8' tripod screen, 1.1 gain, 1:1 aspect ratio (slides), gives a beautiful image, fairly flat, fairly bright as a 6x8' 3:4 ratio image from a sub-$500 epson data grade projector. Wouldn't go much bigger (120" or 135" 16:9 screens were tempting but we don't have an HD projector yet. Note that most $450 to $3000 projectors have about 1900 to 2600 lumens, enough for a 100 to 135" screen in the dark, except LED, they have 3 to 5 times lifespan bulbs but can be dim!!

A Bit Flimsy

Bob, pcRUSH.com

  • Summary: Comments about Elite Screens Tripod Portable Projection Screen: When buying a screen, be aware that the larger the size the better the frame needs to be. I find this product at 100 inches to be flimsy. I should have purchased a much sturdier unit in this size.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Functional

Elite Screens Tripod Portable Projection Screen

  • Summary: My primary reason for purchasing this screen was to have a portable projection screen that would be easy to transport. This particular screen compacts down into its own case, everything is a single unit. It takes about 5 minutes to set up. Weighs a reasonable amount. However it is very long, and in my SUV it sits partially in the front seats and goes straight to the back window. So it's not for anyone with a small car. But it is a great screen.

  • Summary: I bought this screen and Overstock delivered just in time for the 2010 World Cup matches. Setup was easy like ABC. Screen quality is unbelievably great. I beamed the World Cup Matches on this screen and it feels like you are right there in South Africa. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great screen at affordable rate to buy this. No regrets at all. At first, I bought the Samsung Electronic Projector Screen and placed in my living room.

Elite Screens Tripod Portable Projection Screen

  • Summary: I'm a teacher and use overhead projectors all the time, the old sheet on the blackboard was not working for me anymore, so I ordered this to keep at work. It's great, easy to handle and the price is the best around, I've been looking for this for some time and the cost was always prohibitive as this comes from my pocket, not the schools, but this fit the bill, and presents a more professional look, the students like using the overhead projector more and their diagraming...

  • Summary: I bought this last year to go with my projector so that I could present professional-looking educational programs to nurses, patients, the homeschool group i help educate, and anywhere else I may need it...I am very pleased with the product. It is a little tricky to manipulate the whole thing by yourself, but you can do it, and after a while its not so hard anymore... the screen is good quality, and the projected images look clear and very viewable...
