  • Excerpt: We used the product for a conference to avoid a hotel rental charge that was the same amount. It was easy to setup and gave a great view from all angles. Elite screens are a quality product for the price. B&H had this on catalog, but I was able to pick it up in person.

  • Excerpt: Our screen is used indoors only a few times per year and is kept securely in a safe place so we don't need a super rugged construction. For our use this screen is outstanding!

  • Summary: This 8'x8' tripod screen, 1.1 gain, 1:1 aspect ratio (slides), gives a beautiful image, fairly flat, fairly bright as a 6x8' 3:4 ratio image from a sub-$500 epson data grade projector. Wouldn't go much bigger (120" or 135" 16:9 screens were tempting but we don't have an HD projector yet.

A Bit Flimsy

Bob, pcRUSH.com
28 March 2011
  • Summary: Comments about Elite Screens Tripod Portable Projection Screen: When buying a screen, be aware that the larger the size the better the frame needs to be. I find this product at 100 inches to be flimsy. I should have purchased a much sturdier unit in this size.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Functional

  • Excerpt: It's just a great big projector screen. Great quality, not too heavy, and exactly what I thought it would be.
