Summary: Comments about Da-Lite Versatol Portable and Tripod Projection Screen: I am a speaker and this is part of my daily work team. I give an opinion about the size and weight: If you are thinking about a lightweight screen is easy to carry this, is quite large and heavy, so they should bear in mind that you need a large vehicle to transport or extra help if you bring more tools such as a projector or a laptop for your conference.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Set Up, Good Focus, Powerful, Sharp Picture
Summary: The screen seems very solidly built and durable. I set it up before I read the instructions and I was able to figure it out, in spite of the fact that it takes several steps to set up. The Screen itself is flawless and bright white, and stands straight. The tripod stands with one leg parallel to the screen, and when the screen folds, the roll swivels to tuck next to this leg.
Summary: I use it to turn my backyard into my personal home cinema. Works great...great picture quality with my projector. Real simple to breakdown and set up. Just remember to lower the screen back down when you're done...or else a gust of wind might catch it and turn it into a hang glider. Having my horror movie marathon next weekend, can't wait.
Summary: A little confusing to figure it out at first, but then it's a breeze. Wish they had the carry case for this size, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, it's really large, so it would probably not matter that much. The kids love to watch movies on this. You can adjust the height of the screen up and down, and also make the screen shorter or taller. It opens by pulling up, not down, but not a problem. Overall great product.
Summary: I ordered this product on presidents day. I chose the super shipping saving option. Shockingly when I got home the next day it was sitting on my front porch. Originally it said it would take 4-9 business days with the free shipping. This is the easiest screen that I had to set up. I have already used it to show a movie on and it took me 5 minutes max to set up. I am one happy customer.
Summary: We use it in our training center to teach professional post-production software, and for HD video project screenings. We're also using a very good quality projector. Gives a great image, close up or far away. We're super happy with it. Remember, the screen is only have the battle, make sure your projector is up to par!
Pros: Durable, Easy To Set Up, Good Focus, Sharp Picture
Summary: Good looking screen, good value for the money. It was bought for an after-school club so it needed to be easily portable. It's easy to carry and put up; the only issue is it's difficult to unhook the screen to take down, even for a tall guy. It would probably be perfect for a situation where it didn't have to be put up and taken down all the time.
