Excerpt: When I bought my Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 720 It came with an original lamp, and a cheap knockoff extra one. After we replaced the original lamp, we got used to the knockoff that came with the package. When that lamp finally blew - I needed to make the decision to either buy another cheap 3rd party lamp, or splurge for the OEM item found here. After reading multiple reviews, I decided to spend the extra money and buy this product.
Excerpt: I have owned my Epson Home Cinema 1080UB projector for 7 years now and after replacing the lamp this time, I swear it projects a better and brighter image than the day I bought it. My last replacement lamp was a $ mistake that I suffered with for years. When that one quit I knew I was going OEM. Now the image is so bright and crisp, I actually watch on a lower (and quieter) lamp setting than I did with the original factory lamp. This lamp is well worth the money.
Excerpt: Bright image again, replaced bulb with 3000hrs on it Hopefully will be able to acheive same bulb life again. Only gave it 4 stars, due not knowing what the ultimate life of the bulb will be. Will not that for a couple of years.
Pros: Brighter Image, Easy To Set Up, Fair Price, Good Padding
Excerpt: Yes, these are pricey. However, my two projectors are mounted 15 feet up, and I don't want to have to change bulbs any more often than necessary. My previous pair of Epson OEM bulbs had been in service over 4 years and nearly 3,000 hours when replaced, and were still working. However, they had greatly exceeded their estimated service life, and needed to be replaced. I will continue to buy Epson lamps from B&H.
