Summary: These are excellent shipping label printers. Super reliable and long lasting. It's the only shipping printer we use at our online store. The only feature we dislike about the printer is that the dark cover over the roll of labels is difficult to see through, so it's hard to tell when you're running low on labels without actually opening up the printer lid. Other than that, this is a terrific shipping label printer.
Awesome product for the money. Will buy another and reccomend to friends.

Summary: Very happy with this purchase. This is my first thermal printer. I have always been weird about buying refurbished goods. However, this printer looks and works like brand new. Was easy to install and does everything I need it to do. If you can get the manual or download the PDF of the manual you may supervised with what features this printer has. You can used rolls, or folded flats in different sizes up to 4.25 inches wide I do believe.
Good desktop printer for small to medium print loads.

Summary: I had used this printer for about 2 years 12 years ago for my consignment business and more recently for a couple small businesses and fund raiser. I had done my own programming for the systems including the label printer. I found speed more than adequate and print quality very good. 1x4 labels run about .006 cents per label . Has been easy to use and reliable. I have recommended this printer to small businesses .
Great robust thermal printers for simple labels. Good used value!

Summary: The great old work horse, these are very durable. I've used them for many years mostly printing 4x6 postage labels and they also print my 1x2.5 labels. It's best to get the newest ones you can, so you get the most remaining life from them. One of mine is over 15 years old and it's all original, the 2844 has been around for a good while. Haven't tried the current new model, the old ones are still going strong.
Great printer for the money. Need to invest some time to get it set up.

Summary: Bought this printer as a more cost effective way to print shipping labels for my e-commerce website. I like the speed and quality of the printer. I have no other label printers to compare this to, but it works well for my needs. The only downside to it, was the set up time required to get it operational with my system (currently print postage through Stamps.com and UPS).
Summary: Made my bar coding of my product a easy process. Pretty easy to use. I have bar coded over 3000 items in less than 2 days compared to what I was doing before my productivity has greatly increased.
Summary: The Zebra LP2844 Printer is very good for the intended purpose. Works well with WinXP and below. Seems to be more difficult working with Vista and Win7, but not impossible. USB versions are easier to work with. Older "Parallel/Serial" connectors work best if you have the old LPT/COM printer ports available. BEWARE of the variations.
Very easy, convenient and works well with so many different applications!

Summary: I received this as a used/refurbished product. It worked for me from the moment I got the drivers installed and turned it on. I use it for my Ebay business and with Stamps.com. I LOVE IT! I have never used any other thermal printer before so I have nothing to compare it to. As a novice to this type of printer, however, I think it cannot be beat. No learning curve.
