Summary: We bought the 8560 mfp/d 31 months ago. We have put 120,000 copies on it. We decided not to buy a service contract or extended warranty which was a mistake. We printed 100,000 copies without a service call. Then it started to break down. Since then, we have had 3 service calls.
Summary: Great print quality with this printer especially in color. Sharp & clean printouts on even regular paper. The only reason I would say it isn't perfect is that when it goes into standby mode it seems to take an extremely long time to warm up & print the first time (i.e. first printout of the day).
Summary: The Xerox replacement ink seemed a bit pricey, so after having this machine and loving it for over a year, we decided to use the less expensive ink. Don't do it! The ink melted all over the place inside our printer. It made a real mess. Our copies have ink bled all over them.
Summary: I bought this printer to print labels and small postcards and fliers, basically. After having used it now for nearly one month, there is very little I don't like about it. Once it's warmed up and ready to go (which only takes about a minute) the paper flies.
Summary: I bought this printer because of the low "ink" cost, which other users have mentioned come in wax blocks. The quality is very nice, I use it for when I want to print my office letterhead in color. The printer does take a LONG time to warm up, but I'm not a high-volume user, so that's OK.
Summary: I purchased the xerox Phaser 8560N about one month ago. It is a great printer, clear color copies and fast once it warms up. It takes about 3 or 4 minutes to get ready to print from a sleeping mode. To conserve ink the printer must be left on all the time.
Summary: This is a great business-oriented printer. Print quality is very good and it is very fast after is warmed up (10 min or so from power-on). No complaints there whatsoever. Be careful if getting it for a home office.
