Summary: I agree with the other reviewer that all the bells and whistles present more options than a small office with rationed IT help can manage. Can't tell you how much paper we've wasted trying to get a page printed at the right scale, on the right paper, and with the right orientation. It is also true that the printer does not hold its color well and we are constantly having to recalibrate to get something that is even remotely like the image on the screen.
Summary: I bought this printer (Xerox Phaser 7500N) from DAVTECH Computer Center on August 3, 2013 First I had problems installing from the CD that came with it. I had to download drivers from the Internet. It printer beautifully for a while and then around November, I started having problems with printing on heavy media. It prints ok on normal 20lb paper, but continues with problems on thick paper, board, gloss board etc. The toner is not being fused to the printing material.
Summary: The printer was working fabulously until the magenta toner leaked all over the inside. The problem is with the developer, or worse. We changed toner cartridges three times. Still had a problem. Xerox is working on a solution.
Summary: We purchased this printer to upgrade our old 7400N. Apparently Xerox has done away with the straight paper path that was available on the 7400 which makes this printer useless for the application we purchased it for. Although the specifications say that this printer is able to print cover stock up to 90 lbs, don't be fooled - THAT IS JUST NOT TRUE! It jams and also curls the cardstock. The cardstock is too curled to print the other side and will never lay flat again.
