Nothing but issues

Green Grower, Amazon
22 October 2014
  • Summary: Have a Phase 6200 but this one is just painful to own. After about 3 months service had to come out 3 times to repair then they just gave up with trying to fix it and had a recondition printer sent to me.

DMV has better customer service than Xerox.

Michael C., Amazon
12 August 2014
  • Summary: The employees on the help line are generally unhelpful and unwilling to try and solve your problem beyond minor troubleshooting suggestions generated from a database. Xerox will also blame print issues on your computer rather than their own hardware - it must be your software!

Not for network use

Venron, Xerox
14 March 2014
  • Summary: We have quite a few Phaser 6280 printers where I work, and they are great printers. Unfortunately, they were replaced with the 6600, which is slower than some 20 year old printers we still have.

Big disappointment on color & envelopes

laura970, Staples
16 January 2014
  • Excerpt: This printer was a big disappointment. While it is fast and the print quality is good, I had two big issues. The first is that business envelopes come out seriously wrinkled on one end. Large, squarer envelopes (professional Thanksgiving cards) came out with the printing completely skewed.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fast
  • Cons: Poor Color Rendering, Skews Envelopes, Wrinkles Envelopes

Picture on Office Depot site is misleading

Lisay, Office Depot
24 July 2013
  • Excerpt: We purchased this printer online for our company thinking that we were getting a printer with three trays. However, when we received the printer, it only had the bypass tray and the one paper tray. When I called to inquire where the other tray was, they said that tray had to be purchased separately.
  • Cons: office depot bad advertising

nice features, pig on toner

PMRAC, Amazon
30 April 2013
  • Summary: We had a xerox 8650MFP for years and loved it! We finally decided to replace it with a smaller printer because we didn't need the faxing or scanning capabilities any more. The 6600 is a nice printer with a terrific duplexer. But it eats toner like crazy.

To costly to maintain

Anonymous, Xerox
12 April 2013
  • Summary: The print quality is great but the printer cost so much to maintain! I cannot afford to continue using it. The toner is extremely expensive and does not last. I have gone through 2 full sets of color cartridges 4 of them being the high yield and have only printed 2,000 pages.
