Summary: Fantastic printer for my desktop publishing (you'll disagree if you're publishing a photo album - this is not a photo printer, but the 600 dpi pic on my cover does look fantastic). I've printed over 3,000 pages to date on 28# Hammermill paper.
Summary: Have a Phase 6200 but this one is just painful to own. After about 3 months service had to come out 3 times to repair then they just gave up with trying to fix it and had a recondition printer sent to me.
Summary: The employees on the help line are generally unhelpful and unwilling to try and solve your problem beyond minor troubleshooting suggestions generated from a database. Xerox will also blame print issues on your computer rather than their own hardware - it must be your software!
Summary: This is a top notch printer for home or office use. It does eat up toner, as the other review mentions, but I don't think it is any worse than other printers of similar quality. If you want a good deal on toner, go for the 8800 with solid ink. However, the printer's base price will be $3K.
Excerpt: The printer was generally easy to install onto the network and my laptop via the disc. It is large, but not larger than described. It is a fast printer with high quality type and imaging. While generally fast, at times it struggled to print large pdf files quickly. It came with full ink cartridges.
