Still going strong

Timothy H., Newegg
9 August 2012
  • Summary: Had it a year, and I still love it. Even though the toner rplacements cost almost as much as the printer itself the quality is still amazing. Works flawlessly with my OS X and Windows PCs both direct connect and over the network.
  • Pros: Great color, easy calibration, good paper tray capacity.
  • Cons: Expensive toner.

Spectacular printer at a fantastic price!

James M., Newegg
17 January 2012
  • Pros: Full duplex network printer with 256 MB onboard memory. Outstanding price. These printers are being resold by Newegg at a fantastic price. Several review sites gave this printer high ratings and it earned a PC Magazine editor's choice.
  • Cons: Xerox support can be highly variable. Some is excellent and some is extremely poor.

Excellent choice for a home office

Allons97, Amazon

  • Summary: As a former print shop owner I know the quality of the Xerox phasers copiers. I have been eyeballing this smaller version printer for quite some time but the price tag always stopped me.

  • Summary: INITIAL REACTION: I purchased this printer through documentio.com for $355, no tax and free FedEx shipping. It arrived just three days later, and now that I've set it up in my office, I'm extremely pleased after putting it through the paces.

Great Price for a quality Itwm

Ron A, Amazon
15 April 2011
  • Summary: Item was purchased for Home use. It was shipped to me in heavy duty carton well protected. The only problem in set up was a demand from Mfg. for a dealer purchase name. It would not accept "Other" as a source of purchase so I had to pick a dealers name in my area.

YES! Finally!

Cliff M., Newegg
4 April 2011
  • Summary: I bought this printer to replace my lexmark 543DN, ONLY because the lexmark was WAY too expensive to run, in terms of toner. No 3rd party toner is available for the Lex543DN because the company makes 3rd party chips hard to do, and sues companies who do it (legally), so that chippers fear to even...
  • Pros: Fast prints; Duplex printing; Can print card stock; Menu navigation is GOOD; Can change settings for better printing on different media; Toner capacity is big; Toner is cheap; Print quality pretty good.
  • Cons: Loud, big.

I like it better than my Samsung

Timothy H., Newegg
8 March 2011
  • Summary: I feel this printer is a wonderful value for the money. I have used larger business class color laser devices and this unit prints every bit as good. If you are looking for a simple to use printer with driver sets that don't take over your PC with ink level warnings, printer status updates, and...
  • Pros: Printer colors in normal quality mode are vivid and pretty close to accurate using the PCL 6 drivers. Colors are very vivid and bright on basic laser paper. Printing on plain bond or recycled leaves dull but sharp pictures. Dull is not bad for a presentation handout but for photos or display pict...
  • Cons: $60 per color, time 4 colors could mean the ink refills may cost as much as the printer. Small main paper tray.

Impressive So Far!

Anonymous, Newegg
5 April 2010
  • Summary: One of the Best color lasers you can buy. Cost of consumables should come done over time. I am very happy and will report back in several months with an update to this initial review.
  • Pros: This was an upgrade to an older Oki LED Color Printer I had. The printer has a nice modern look and was easy to set up. It warms up very fast when turned on, or when coming out of sleep mode. First page print time is very fast. My old OKI took much much longer to warm up and print the first page....
  • Cons: There is a chip on the Toner Cartridges, and the Cost of consumables is rather high right now, although some are now selling refill kits with chips for this printer at much lower prices. The printer has only been out for year, so more and more third party vendors should start selling parts and Ton...
