Excellent printer - toner is prohibitvely expensive

Summary: We needed a tabloid printer that handled heavy stock. This workhorse fits the bill. Colors and print quality are excellent. I handles duplex printing with heavier stock smoothly at high volumes. This is a big, heavy printer. Be sure you have a place to put it before it arrives. You'll need to people to unpack it and set it up and you won't want to move it again. The only drawback is that Xerox charges over $1200 for a set of high capacity toner cartridges.
Summary: I purchased this machine in August 2010 after the vendor raved on about how it was the best replacement for the old HP5500 we were upgrading from. It printed lovely images, when it was printing. The magenta toner leaked all over the inside of the machine and no-one could fix it, so we received a replacement from Xerox after complaining for 6 months. I cannot put value on lost productivity and time spent hunting down the claim. The new Xerox 7500dn arrived August 2012.
Summary: I can't get cardstock to work in it now to any consistent degree. Keeps jamming in the front on multipurpose tray. Can't find anything in settings to fix this. Very frustrating. My second Phaser and very disappointed. Otherwise, okay, but this jamming negates the usefulness of the product.
Summary: I bought this printer less than 2 years ago and I'm already having to look for its replacement. Worked pretty well for about a year, then it seemed with each cartridge I replaced came a new problem. Everything printed very yellow for a while, three lines from the cartridge (mainly magenta) showed up across every single page. Now it seems that the fuser is shot, because ink (mostly black) won't even stick to the page anymore.
Summary: This is not our first Phaser printer and certainly won't be our last. This is a terrific printer that we have had great luck with over the past few years. Now that we have more than one we can share supplies and that makes life just a bit simpler.
Summary: The Xerox 6280 is an excellent color printer and it arrived on time and in good condition. But I was disappointed with the vendor, PCNation. When ordering there was no sales tax shown on the Amazon site. But, the next day I received a phone call from PCNation telling me that they had to collect sales tax - PCNation is in IL and I am in CA so I was a little suspicious.
Summary: I bought this printer in the summer of 2009 and it worked great for 2 years. Excellent print quality, though the toner cartridges are very expensive. I only had to replace the toner cartridges one time, so that was not too bad. Recently, I began to get a CRUM error, which required restarting the printer. Then I had an MCU error, which indicates a problem with the computer board.
