Summary: I have had this for a year. Paper: It barely gets jams, if it does they come out fine. vs an hp inkjet i had, one jam messed it up. Toner: none last as long as they say, because they calculate at 5% usage. The xerox toner is crazy expensive. I tried an offbrand from ebay and hand problems with it. I know buy the LD from amazon and haven't ever had a problem. If you buy a 4 set it's only $10.50 a piece.
Summary: This printer is great, compact, and prints great quality. But please be advised that it does NOT come with cords to hook it to your computer or network. You must supply those yourself. It only comes with a power cord and that's it. When I excitedly tore open the box to play with it, I had to use a dinky one foot cord I had laying around the house with my laptop on the floor to test it out. You need to buy a long A/B usb cord separate for this printer.
Summary: I love this printer, but the toner is killing me. This "5%" idea is stupid. No one uses just 5% per sheet. They should just say that you are only going to get 250 pages of color output and not try to pretend that you will get 1000 copies. The sad thing is that they are making a killing off the toner. The cost of a toner cartridge should be about $4.95-$5.95 per color and not these ridiculous numbers of $68.99 per color. I'm using the off brand, but here is the thing.
Summary: Printer is a very nice choice for personal or small business use. The images are printed out very nice in color. I have seen no cons in this product at the moment. An affordable solution if one is looking for a color laser option.
Summary: I am awarding this printer 5 stars for its ease of installation, quality of output, quality of workmanship, unit price and the average cost of a printed page. The Xerox Phaser 6125N appears to be a solid, quality unit. Given that you will print about 500 pages before you need to buy your next toner, you get a lot of value for the price. Thereafter, based on the prices currently listed at Amazon, paying $70 for 2000 black and white pages is not bad at all.
