Xerox Phaser 6010 review

Digitaltrends
2 October 2013
  • Conclusion: For the most part, the Phaser 6010 is a generic desktop color laser printer. It’s very light and compact, and very quiet, even when printing. It’s not as fast as a few of the other color lasers in its price class that we’ve recently tested, but given the very high quality of the output, we don’t see any user being unhappy about getting 10ppm from the printer. Supply costs are a bit on the high side.
  • Pros: Highly compact, Very good quality output, Has 10 sheet bypass tray for specialty papers
  • Cons: No Wi-Fi, No automatic duplexing, Slow first-copy out time

Xerox Phaser 6010N

PC Magazine
27 May 2011
  • Conclusion: The Xerox Phaser 6010N LED printer is small enough to fit on a desk to serve as a personal printer, but capable enough to share in a micro or small office.
  • Pros: Small. Reasonably high-quality output. Acceptably fast speed.
  • Cons: Although more than good enough for most business needs, text quality is a touch below par. High cost per page.

Xerox Phaser 6010 Review

PrinterComparison
15 April 2011
  • Conclusion: It was hard to find a flaw with the 6010 because it is what Xerox advertises: a compact, easy to use LED printer that provides quality prints for a solid initial price tag. The things I mention in the cons list are minor; the monochrome print speeds didn't hit 15 ppm in our tests and there is no automatic duplexing option, a fairly common feature found on business models.
  • Pros: Compact footprint, Great print quality, Ease of use
  • Cons: B&W print speeds slightly slower than advertised, Manual duplexing

From the Lab Xerox Phaser 6010

Macworld
7 March 2011
  • Excerpt: (1 items) If you want a personal or small-office color laser printer that performs well, is easy to use, and won't take up much space, the $299 Xerox Phaser 6010 certainly belongs on your short list. If you want something that's affordable in the long term, however, look elsewhere: Toner costs for the Phaser 6010, especially its colors, are the highest we've seen in a while. Users who print fairly little might feel the pinch less keenly.
  • Pros: Impressive text and color output, Easy to use
  • Cons: Expensive toner, No automatic duplexing

Xerox Phaser 6010 review

Techworld
23 February 2011
  • Summary: The Xerox Phaser 6010 is a printer we wanted to like. Its simplicity, good performance and output quality are compelling. Actually, we did like it, we just don't like paying though the nose for toner, and the lack of automatic duplexing makes it hard to save on paper, too.

Xerox Phaser 6010V/N: Farblaserdrucker im Test

handy.t-online.de
17 March 2011
  • Summary: Beim Farblaserdrucker Xerox Phaser 6010V/N kommt LED-Technik zum Einsatz.
