Summary: We have had several of these at my place of business and they have all had problems right away. Fusers break, rollers snap and get caught in it, and they freeze for no reason. Run fast and far from any Xerox printer.
Summary: I bought this printer for my billing dept and we love it. It was fast, printed crisp and everything was excellent. We service 3 other facilities from one central location and that is where the problems began. Locally connected, this printer in conjunction with an additional 3rd tray, worked like a dream. Over Remote Desktop through the re-direct---- it did not. No amount of drivers or technical support could get the remote desktop to recognize the third tray.
Summary: I replaced 3 IBM printers that I had for 9 years - NO PROBLEMS - just wore them out. Bought 3 of the Phaser 3600s. Nothing but trouble. Biggest issue is a FAN failure. Appears to be a KNOWN problem due to a bad design. Xerox has been very prompt and after only 2 months has been out here 3 times to replace the fans in all 3 machines. 1 month later I've already called them again for same problem. I will NOT buy Xerox again.
Summary: The machine has met my expectations. So far no major issues after 2 months of use. So much faster than my 12 year old HP. A little noisier than expected but when special tray door is closed not bad. We do a lot of check printing and the adjustable try doesn't always fit the paper exact - so some slippage on the printing.
Summary: Just buy it. Easy set-up. good print speed. It is a great printer for small home / office . I have used this printer for about a month on a mac running windows and have no complaints printing from windows or mac platform.
Summary: I purchased the Xerox Phaser to save printing costs. I expect the cartridge to last a long time--we will see. It prints a 160-page book within two minutes--about 27 pages per minute duplexing. Print quality, including b&w photographs, is very good. It was delivered by FedEx within a few days--before it was expected. I would recommed this product.
Summary: I have used this printer in my CPA practice for about a year now. During tax season this is the "main machine" for cranking out tax returns. What I like about it: Fast and fairly decent (but inconsistent) print quality. What I don't like about it: Very Loud during operation Poor paper handling...I bought another small brother printer for envelopes and labels because this printer does such a poor job with anything other than regular paper.
Summary: I have purchased three of these printers. I usually buy HP but a client wanted Xerox so I went with the Phaser and they have been great. NO failures. Reasonable toner cost. [I always use OEM.] High page duty cycle and quality output.
Summary: My company has purchased 4 of these machines in the past 3 years. While they are simple to set up and use toner efficiently, the fuser within the machine is cheap and not durable at all. Our first set of printers experienced a blown fuser just out of warranty (slightly over one year) and now our 3rd 3600 has a blown fuser within warranty (only about 9 months old.) It's been a week and Xerox has yet to replace the blown fuser, as the part is on backorder all over the U.S.
Summary: This product is great! I only gave it a 4 only because it takes longer that I want for it to warm up. Other than that I am loving it. I did order the option for duplexing. Very simple to install and set up by using the functions one the printer itself. There is a built in webpage for connecting and setting up the printer. It too is simple for simple changes. The more complex of your network/solution the challenging the settings can be.
