Summary: I can see this printer can be worn out if too much printing is done on a regular basis so pay attention to the usage recommendations if considering for a small office. This is a laser printer with a robust (and therefore complex) set of menu choices and driver types. It greatly helps if you are a techie type of person or have ready access to one if you are using this at home.
Pros: Have had this over 1 year now and I can say my best home printer ever. I work from home and have 3 kids in HS and College printing to this. Ink Jet printers always dry out when unused for a week or so and always when you need them most. Never once have I failed to be able to print with this HP.
Cons: A Built-in WIFI should have only added $20 to the cost to build so why not include it?
Summary: Very good quality. Not the fasted or the cheapest. I had a previous model and it worked well for several years. I haven't been able to try every many color printers like these so it's very hard to compare, but it's good enough for what we use it for which is to proof print adds.
Summary: I purchased this color laser printer based on other reviewer's input and that I was fortunate enough to find it on sale ($206 out the door). :) I had difficult time setting this printer for network. For some unknown reason the printer failed to detect my network IP address. I was lucky enough to have engineer friend to help me and even so took several hours (with him doing most of diagnostic) before the printer was finally hooked to network up and running.
Excerpt: Fast laser color printer with very nice color printouts. You need to fine tune the registration. You can do it automatically, but I didn't like the results, so I did it manually with better results.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time, Feeds Heavy Card Stock
Summary: I like this printer. It is replacing a Laser Jet 2600n that is showing its 7 or 8 year age. The printing is great. The price was good ( caveat - I haven't had it long enough to buy toner which can be pricey ). However, ... The setup process is awkward and not helped by the fact that the only documentation you get in the box is a large ( 19 inch x 25 inch ), multilingual ( 15 EU language ) two sided sheet of paper with diagrams that can be difficult to interpret.
Summary: I bought this at the $200 price and I've received warranty support with out question. Not sure how the other poster (Sir Wilfrid) did not get a warranty from Xerox. I think I may have registered my serial # before calling for support. Maybe that's the magic step.
Pros: I also reviewed on 6/28. I don't use it heavily, but it's been great so far.
Cons: Manual feed with the new tray is much better, but still alignment is hit or miss.
