Unit did not do a bad job if the right paper was used

Summary: Bought the unit about 2 years ago. Only printed about 100 pages a month. Mostly photos and labels. Unit did not do a bad job if the right paper was used. The imaging assembly failed and needs to be replaced. The cheapest I could find cost $160. Since I only paid $214 for the unit it is not reasonable to repair it. Also, the manual feed always printed crookedly and warped the paper.
Summary: I have no idea what to say about this printer. I never had the opportunity to use it. After my shipment arrived, I had trouble with the sealing tape being somehow melted into the printer. There are 8 yellow tape strips to which 4 had to be removed from the toner and 4 from the adjacent slots. The last of the 8 tapes refused to budge. It was the oddest thing. When I thought all of it was removed, it proceeded to make a grinding noise and flashed to check the seal.
Excerpt: It simply does what it says it will do, great color and print output. We got this at a great price on the "Daily Special Deal".Only problem we had an issue with is that it took over a week to be delivered.
Excerpt: This is my second purchase of this machine. Then again it is the forth machine of this model I have had. I bought one and after only 9,000 copies and 9 months it quit. After trying to fix it over the phone, including sending two different components to switch out, they sent a technician. With his help it went from sort of working to not working at all at which point Xerox sent me another machine.
Acceptable output, dies easily and too quickly, high toner cost

Excerpt: Print quality is acceptable for everyday business use. Speed is OK. Printer looks nice, is in the midrange for noise. I have seven of the Phaser 6500 product line deployed at my location. I have two units unusable sitting on the shelf, both retired before 1 year. I have two units on a bench now, both with the same problem: Phaser 6500N: Deployed Nov 3, 2013. Retired September 30, 2014. Page count 7600. Magenta quit working and required replacement.
Summary: We've deployed several of these printers around my department for use by various workgroups. So far, we've had good luck with them...so much so that a few of us have bought them for home use as well. For the price, they're hard to beat. Are they heavy-duty printers that can handle large volumes of print jobs? Nope. Will you get 250K prints out of it? I seriously doubt it.

Summary: Purchased 5 of these printers for our office (2 From Amazon & 3 from Xerox Direct). On the face of it seemed really good value and the initial print quality for both black and white was excellent. Unfortunately 9 months in two of the printers stated printing light and gradually got worse, xerox replaced the imaging units on these two free of charge as they were within warranty. This fixed the problem but they failed again 6 months later.
