Summary: Bottom line: Not for an office. I purchased this printer when I first started my business about a year ago. It seemed fine when I started using it. I needed one that could do color and general black printing as well, so I went for this one as it had a small footprint and reasonably priced. It worked fine, but when I got my Cannon MF4770, I got use to quick. The Cannon was like instant.
Beautiful Printing, Dependable, But Does NOT Take Card Stock & Labels As Claimed!!!

Summary: I work in an office that requires a lot of special projects such as mail outs, posters, etc. and while I love this printer (I also have the fax/scanner on top) for it's quality, it is limited to paper and thin envelopes and it is very frustrating because the manufacturer claims it can process thick card stock, etc. Essentially, they lied, they know they lied and they don't care.
Summary: Watch out and stand back! This printer jumps out of the box and starts working immediately. I had no problem with hanging it on the network. It cleared its throat with the first page - a little smudge - after that it was printing Mona Lisa's one page after another. This beats an ink jet any day - no worry about replacing cartridges all the time, and of course no smears (fused image). Speed is great after the first page (has to heat up).
Summary: I love this printer: it is light-weight, doesn't take up much room, and it is easy to use and reliable. The cartridges are easy to change, and I love not having to deal with the hassle of liquid ink. My only problem is that it doesn't take card stock; it can't grab the thicker paper. According to Xerox, the phaser 6010 can use the following weights: 16 – 43 lb. bond / 60 – 163 gsm, so keep that in mind when shopping for paper.
Excerpt: The printer weighs less than half as much as the old Dell laser printer it replaced. The outer end of the paper tray is exposed, so you can see exactly how much paper is left. That also makes it easy to insert a legal size sheet or business card or label form without having to pull out a tray. Printing quality is excellent. It takes a couple of seconds to warm up after sitting idle for a while, but not long enough to be an inconvenience.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Reliable, Sharp tones & colors
Might have been OK, If the paper pickup rollers had worked.

Summary: I had to return the printer. If going for a Xerox Phaser I'd look into the 6500N. Concerning the 6010, I should have paid more attention to the exposed paper tray on the front. The paper tray also felt kind of flimsy. It ended up looking more like a inkjet printer than a laser printer.
