Summary: I'm 63 Dyslexic and PC challenged. So while people on this site say easy to install HA. But I installed it and it only took 2 hours. Now if I had to do it again 20 minutes from unpacking to install is all Id need. Printed my first 2 pictures and all was wonderful. The quick install book is in Japanese, no joke however the instruction book is 40 pages and in English, but you only need that if your printing off line, or your creating special effects.
Summary: I am quite satisfied with the purchase. There are some minor flaws like slightly darker picture than what displayed on computer screen (almost hard to notice however). Also this printer can not print from USB Flash drive. Overall media can get a little pricey but prints are very good and there is always saving when you get a 120 pack.
Summary: I bought this yty and went home and started printing away. Its alot of fun. I took the 'worst' of the photos to work and showed it to colleagues. Not one of them thought it was from a computer. The quality is like getting them developed. It may take a minute to print but you can choose a bunch and print them and just let the printer do its thing. So don't think you have to sit over the printer while it does each one. However, you can only do 20 at a time.
Summary: We bought this printer several months back. It prints beautiful photos, generally well-balanced colors and of a good quality. The final layer is waterproof and fingerprintproof, so it is great for making prints to share with friends and family (especially kids) The only problem with the printer is that when you put in a memory card, it takes a long time to browse the photos.
Amazing, fast results though not exactly Macintosh friendly

Summary: Everything about this printer is great, including the packaging. Though I am not one to be hung up on something as small as packaging, I would have to say they did an elegant job with this product. It even reminded me of similar packaging you would find in Apple brand products. Anyhow, setting this printer up on a Macintosh can be difficult.
Amazing photos, super easy to use, just a couple of gripes

Summary: I've gotten maybe 100 photos off the SPP-2040 so far and continue to be amazed at the quality. Takes a full 60 seconds for one print but it's fun to watch as the photo paper passes through 4 times to lay down each of the primary colors and a black. Costs about 39 cents a print if you buy replacement paper and ribbons in quantity. I could hook it up to my PC with a USB cable but it's so much easier to just slide in a camera's memory card and print off of that.
Excerpt: yes we own this product. we really like it,, it does a great job.. ONLY ONE PROBLEM... YOU CAN`T FIND THE PAPER OR INK CARTRIDGES ANYWHERE ON LINE , QVC, OR ANYWHERE. WISH I HADN`T BOUGHT IT NOW..
Summary: SAMSUNG SPP-2040 Der SAMSUNG SPP-2040 ist ein Thermosublimationsdrucker für 10x15 Bildabzüge von digitalen Bildern.
