So far, so good.

John, Amazon
20 April 2014
  • Summary: I initially was looking at two models of Brother's color lasers but the prices jumped up unexpectedly so I just decided to hold off with a B/W laser until I can review the color products again. I was planning to get the Brother's B/W as most reviews pointed to it, but as I read more on the Samsung (what little I could find) it appeared to have more features and was rated for higher output per month.

Mac users printing envelopes - install the factory driver for best results

docbrown88, Amazon
13 April 2014
  • Summary: This printer like many today install in Mac OS X in just a few clicks, using apple-supplied drivers. Everything worked fine over our network from 10.8 and 10.9 machines; however today I tried printing to number 10 envelopes and ran into trouble. No preset paper size seemed to appear in the native driver. I tried making a custom paper size approximating the #10, but jobs printed with this either failed or would print incorrectly.

Very fast and easy to set up. Duplex and network(not wireless) printing are a huge bonus.

  • Summary: This is not a tiny printer. It's more for a professional/small business than a college student dorm room printer. It has very good printing quality and fast speed. The only little nick picky thing I have about this printer is that Samsung didn't have a printer driver that specific design for it. It only comes with a generic driver that you have to install if you want to activate duplex printer because Windows 8's default driver won't allow it.

Great printer, expensive refills

Strohmian, Amazon
31 December 2013
  • Summary: ** Why a B/W printer ** Let me start this review by saying that I'm quite a fan of monochrome laser printers: they're fast to start up and print, don't clog up when unused for a couple weeks, cheap to operate, and generally quite reliable. I've owned another Samsung laser for 10 years which never failed me and only once required a toner refill that I got off Amazon for $10.

Still Retains Its Workhorse Roots

Canis Majoris, Amazon

  • Summary: The Samsung Monochrome Laser Printer. There have been many varieties of the latter description and one thing remains the same throughout its line: it is a printer that does only one job--fast printing in black and white--and does it extremely well for a long time. Personally I have had experience with four of these printers with different models (all being the laser monochrome printer).

High quality, but bulky and heavy

Edward Durney, Amazon
25 December 2013
  • Summary: For a laser printer without other functions like copying, faxing and scanning, this printer seems bulky and heavy. But if all you need is good, reliable, and cheap black-and-white printing, this printer will fit the bill. It works well. One pro is that it prints on both sides of the page. A couple of cons. First, it is a network printer but not a wireless printer. If you want to use it wirelessly, you need to attach an access point device.

Great laser printer

Wixby Bonnet, Amazon
24 December 2013
  • Summary: This Samsung laser printer handles all my home printing needs. It is quick and the resulting printed page has clear, crisp text. I generally don’t print out much of importance, so the Eco button to save on ink is a very nice feature. I also get much use out of the duplex feature which allows me to print on both sides of the paper. The printer has the capability to take jobs from a tablet or phone.

Samsung makes good stuff

Big-D, Amazon
18 December 2013
  • Summary: I have always been a HP man when it comes to printers. I own and still use a HP LaserJet 1320. It has served me well and trouble free for many years. But now I have obtained the "New" Samsung ProXpress SL-M3320ND Monochrome Printer. Wow, it has a really long name. However, it works perfectly. It prints clear and fast.

Inexpensive and very capable laser printer, but high cost of toner can be a concern

Here I Am, Amazon
4 December 2013
  • Summary: You can connect this printer directly to your computer using a USB cable, or if you like to share or access it over a wireless network, connect it with an ethernet cable to your router. You need to supply both the USB and / or the ethernet cables(s) yourself because they don't come included with the printer (this is true for most printers today). I tested this printer by connecting it directly to my computer first.
