Pros: Crisp image, fast and has duplex mode. Easy to install, just plug in the LAN cable and install the software. No issues. The http connection to the printer gives a lot of useful information.
Cons: I would give this printer more eggs, it were not for the ridiculous amount of status/error pages it generates, which wastes paper and toner. If you are planning on printing a lot of envelopes, I would not recommend this printer. Almost every switch from plain paper to envelope results in one dupl...
Summary: Again, on sale, it was worth it. But I wouldn't pay full price considering the cons I mentioned.
Pros: On sale, this was an excellent deal, especially with the included 3000-page toner cartridge. The printer is fast and print quality is quite good for a low-end laser. The duplexing is a handy feature and works well.
Cons: As with most low-end printers, you sacrifice a control panel on the printer itself, which I miss (I bought this to replace an HP LaserJet 4100dtn, which was a fantastic printer before it got old and started acting up). If the hurdle of setting the printer is passed ( it defaults to print two pages on the same side of the paper sheet with tiny pr

Summary: For some reason all SAMSUNG products have cumbersome interfaces. I am a tech guy, so if I find them so I believe that can be daunting to others. I also am a tad unhappy, because I believed this was a wireless interface printer but that is my fault misreading the specs.
Great basic laserprinter. Don't ever upgrade firmware. Brick.

Summary: Do not follow the firmware upgrade instructions. When you upload new firmware from the samsung website, you brick the printer. So I would probably not suggest buying this for the online features like google cloudprint. But for a generic B&W laser, I love the samsungs.
