This printer worked great until I had to replace toner cartridge
8 September 2015
Summary: This printer worked great until I had to replace toner cartridge. It refused to recognize the new cartridge. Instructions say to just try again until it recognizes the cartridge. I did; it doesn't. I have tried three different cartridges with no luck.
Summary: I have had this printer for 17 months now and it is just OK. Like other users, I have problems printing envelopes and have basically just given up on this printer except plain paper documents. The duplexer works fine and has never given any problems though.
Summary: I've used one of these printers at work for about one year now, and when I needed a new printer at home it was an obvious choice. Small footprint, prints fast, never a mis-feed (ever!), large capacity paper tray, solidly built, and a painless install.
Summary: Don't buy this printer if you need it to be able to work with more than one computer. I purchased this printer to replace my previous Samsung printer. With the older printer I was able to set up the network function within five minutes so that both my wife and I could use the printer.
Summary: love this printer; bought it as replacement for an earlier samsung M2851 that worked flawlessly for over 6 years (only on the 2nd toner cartridge so you can see I don't print all that often). Here's to the next 6 years also trouble-free.
Summary: One of the most finicky printers I've ever owned. It doesn't work most of the time. I would not recommend it. I had an old HP laser 1000 I bought for less than $100 years ago that never failed, but could not find a working driver for Windows 7/8.
