A good quality printer - recommended for study and work purposes!

Excerpt: I use this printer for written work, essays etc. and although it's old, it's still working really efficiently! Whereas with a normal inkjet printer you can hear it working hard and printing one thin line of writing at a time, this printer prints a page in one quick glide! The paper comes out quite warm, and sometimes the ink smudges a bit, but overall the print quality is excellent, although you can only use black and white.
Excerpt: This printer must be 8 years old now and mine is still ticking! It has no faults, and in that whole time I've only replaced the toner cartridge once! The 8ppm is still fast enough, it can catch a good chunk of paper for you or just drop it all in the floor on a pile. It can almost hold a full pack of 500 sheets in the 'in' tray. The quality doesn't fade as the drum is built into the cartridge so the quality is renewed with every cartridge change.
If this is Samsung's printers then I'm sticking with them!

Excerpt: We have had our Samsung ML4500 printer now for around 6 years, and it is such a reliable workhorse that I had to write a review about it. My husband bought this printer when he was at university and needed a fast and professional printer to print out his coursework in the convenience of his home. The printer was therefore used quite intensively for its first year or so, and 6 years later it is still going strong.
Excerpt: Cheap, hard working, easy to use, perfect copies every time, long use out of a cartridge - I could go on and on. I guarantee that you will delighted with this work horse. It takes up little space compared to many others, it doesn't make too much noise compared to many others. My business hammers this printer with at least 500 copies a week for over four years and it performs well every time.
Pros: Cost, reliability, ease of use, top quality print, compact size
Cons: It's a hard working, reliable Volvo, not a Jaguar
Excerpt: This printer comes boxed complete with a poster showing the user clearly how to set it up. I had no problems installing and setting up this printer, and even when at a later date I lost the drivers: they were easy to find on the samsung website. The Samsung ML-4500, has a standard printer port connecter (i.e. no USB) which can only be expected of an older budget printer.
Excerpt: Samsung are not well recognised to produce quality user-friendly laser printers due to their lack of ... promotions and advertisements of their products. (Quite modest of them) A laser printer that has gone well past its sell-by date, Samsung ML4500, an old Samsung model which has gone unnoticed... But as they say 'Old is Gold'. People have already started noticing some of the common faults and defects of modern day-to-day produced products.
Excerpt: This was my first laser after a succession of inkjets and Ive be delighted.I only paid about £80 at pcworld far less than I thought Id have to pay for a laser. I use it for work and print a fair amount but the first toner cart has just lasted 6 months which seemed good and the replacment wasnt outrageous at £45. The quality is great even on economy mode but the only down side I found so far is the relatively slow warm up time.
