Summary: Good little printer, when it worked, at a reasonable price. Lack of support, and lack of information (limited status lights) as to why it was not working was aggravating. Will not buy another Samsung printer. Replaced with a wireless HP that all the Mac and PC devices in our home have been able to use reliably and consistently.
Summary: I found the description of capabilities quite misleading in terms of network printing. Though USB setup was easy, the printer would not network as indicated and would not print, no matter how many ways and times I tried, even enlisting in help because I thought I may have done something wrong.
Summary: The supporting app/driver for this printer (Mac OS X) lacks the most important printing option: back and white only. It only prints in gray scale, so if your document has colors other than black, the colored text/image will be printed in gray - mostly too light to read. Chatted with a Samsung agent for half an hour to set printing in B&W only but did not solve the problem.
Summary: I barely print on this computer, and I am a student, I couldn't believe how fast the toner went out on this printer... I was expecting at least 1000 pages, but i barely printed 300 and it's now dry. yes the duplex feature is good. But printing efficiency blows.
Summary: I use a Mac. I read the reviews for the WiFi version of this printer and decided that version avoid it and I was able to hard wire it anyway. I wish I had avoided the non WiFi version too. My experiences of trying to get it to work are similar to those of other reviewers trying to get the WiFi to work with a Mac It does print quite well, a little too light for my liking but ok. After that everything else is a nightmare.
