Summary: Good little printer, when it worked, at a reasonable price. Lack of support, and lack of information (limited status lights) as to why it was not working was aggravating. Will not buy another Samsung printer. Replaced with a wireless HP that all the Mac and PC devices in our home have been able to use reliably and consistently.
economically efficient if you don't print in color that often

Summary: after owning 2-3 color printers that refuse to operate without a single color cartridge out of 3, I threw in the towel and decided to get a laser B/W printer. After two and a half years of light printing, the ink cartridge is still going strong (I bought a back up cartridge that remains unopened). Only thing missing is wireless operation. But again, for the price I'm happy.
Very Satisfied, works perfectly on my Linux (Debian) system.

Summary: Humpty Dumpty's review convinced my to buy this printer. Totally satisfied. Wanted a fully supported Linux printer. Downloaded install scripts from the Samsung website -- they installed into /opt/samsung... properly staying out of OS owned file systems. :-) Configuration via the cupsd web interface was easy, the printer was found immediately. The install did not replace ./usr/bin/lpr, as it did for Humpty Dumpty.
Summary: This printer weighs less than half of the Brother duplex laser it replaces. Nice when it is in a cabinet. So far I find the print to be clear and fast once the driver goes through its pre print workup. This will not handle real heavy card stock like the Brother which had a straight through the box print option. The Samsung will bend every sheet - so if you print business cards look for a different printer. For 8.5 by 11 double sided it is FAST!
Summary: The printer itself was easy to set up on my network. I am able to print from all three of my home computers. With the help of the Samsung app I am also able to print from my android tablet and Iphone with ease. The printer speed and quality are outstanding. My only knock on this product is the expense of replacing the toner cartridges. $70+ a pop makes this printer expensive to maintain, especially if you print with any regularity.
Summary: Great printer at a great price! This printer runs about 30 pages per day in our office. It's fast, reliable, and was easy to set up. We get about six months out of a toner cartridge. Very happy with it and bought a second one.
Summary: My color printer cost too much to operate. There was a constant requirement to replace ink cartridges that were not empty, just past their arbitrary expiration dates. Then I realized that I was only printing in black and white anyway. This unit produces high quality prints in seconds, not minutes. It is much easier to use, makes almost no noise, and has a very small footprint.
