Summary: This and its sibling the ML-2010 are a great deal on the used market. They are surprisingly long-lived and provide decent print quality as cheap lasers go, at a fraction of the price of an inkjet printer when the price of consumables (toner vs. ink) is factored in.
Great printer for the price and it uses the same toner cartridge my old Samsung used

Summary: I have had good luck using Samsung Laser printers but nothing last forever if made out of plastic and my old one broke after I bought a replacement toner cartridge and I found this one which uses the same cartridge. Been using it for over 3 months and it's great...
Summary: This is a great little printer. Easy to set up, not a whole lot of features, which is fine with me (I like to keep it simple). A little noisy when it's turned on but once it starts printing very fast. I am very satisfied.
Excellent and reliable home/small business monochrome laser printer

Summary: I bought this printer in January 2008 and I am writing a review for this in December 2010. It has been almost 3 years and I am still using this printer as the primary network printer for home and home office use. This has been a reliable printer to say the least and still going.
Summary: Printer does a lot of things right. It's cheap, it's fast. Setup was easy with the software provided. Problems after 1+ year of use: it jams a lot. So just be ready to pull paper bits out of strange openings frequently.
Summary: The printer came really quickly. It was in great condition and was easy to set up and use. Although when its used as a network printer, Windows Vista can't use it. I have a Mac so as soon as the printer was setup on the network I was able to use it right away.
Summary: This printer is a very good choice for a home network. I needed something that would be compatible for both Windows and Ubuntu, and that had a network card so that it was not dedicated to one computer. This printer was the perfect choice.

Summary: One of my friends noticed that I was constantly complaining about the cost of the tricolor ink cartridges I was buying every week for my HP printer. He wondered what I was printing to be using all that color ink?
