Summary: I owned a similar Samsung mono laser printer Ml 1675. Now, the toner has 51% remaining. I found that out from Samsung Easy Printer Manager Software. It shows right on my PC screen. (Starter Cartridge - 700 pg). This printer is still printing clear. I am an infrequent user. Maybe 2 times paper jams but was easily fixed. This was my second Samsung printer. My first Samsung printing quality was 1200x600.
Pros: Ultra Compact, easy to move from one place to another Good value with ncix price match.
Excerpt: The main reason I bought this printer was to free up a USB port on my laptop since there are only two of them. I have tried literally dozens of times to set up the wireless. Even though the installation software tells me again and again that I have been successful (!), it lies. But it works when coupled via the USB port and prints clearly and quickly, so if you don't need the wireless feature, it should be good for you.
Not if you're using it as a network attached printer

Summary: The printer works fine as long as the USB connection is used. When it is connected via WiFi there is a problem I initially connected the Samsung using the WiFi option and the installation software. The software makes the installation easy. I successfully printed a test page using the 'print test page' option of the install software. But I could not get it to print an existing Excel 2003 document (which previously had been printed on my old HP Laser printer).
A Trauma to set up wireless, but works great for $69

Summary: It took a couple of hours to get the wireless working on my Mac and my PC, but once set up, it does a nice job. The set up process was so convoluted, I couldn't tell you how I did it. It included downloading various files and running various setup and config programs and also selecting the printer as a wireless device. Getting the iPad to print was much easier. But for $69, even if you can't get the wireless going, it is a good printer with a USB connection.
