Summary: I owned a similar Samsung mono laser printer Ml 1675. Now, the toner has 51% remaining. I found that out from Samsung Easy Printer Manager Software. It shows right on my PC screen. (Starter Cartridge - 700 pg). This printer is still printing clear. I am an infrequent user. Maybe 2 times paper jams but was easily fixed. This was my second Samsung printer. My first Samsung printing quality was 1200x600.
Pros: Ultra Compact, easy to move from one place to another Good value with ncix price match.
Excerpt: The main reason I bought this printer was to free up a USB port on my laptop since there are only two of them. I have tried literally dozens of times to set up the wireless. Even though the installation software tells me again and again that I have been successful (!), it lies. But it works when coupled via the USB port and prints clearly and quickly, so if you don't need the wireless feature, it should be good for you.
Excerpt: I had a Samsung ML-2150 a few years ago. It worked great. So I bought ML-2165W baucuse its good price and ability of wireless printing. However, setup process was painful. At first the software CD couldn't be read normally. I have to try several time to get the setup done. Although I went through the process for wireless setup smoothly, it still couldn't print. I read an Amazon review which said the printer had a faulty wireless card.
Home user great. Business buyer beware of toner costs.

Summary: Pros: Print quality good. Easy set up. Wireless capable. Cons: Not for people who do a lot of printing. No high capacity cartridge available as of this review. Toner costs more than printer. Bought this for my small business where we do a significant amount of printing. I like the speed, print quality and the small footprint, however the toner cartridge only comes in a 1500 page capacity. And this cost is even higher than the cost of the printer.
