Excerpt: We have been using this printer in our office for 3 years already. We bought it because the computer shop recommended it to us. What I like about the printer is that it’s heavy duty; it prints very fast although for the first page, it warms up …
Summary: I purchased this used printer to replace my ML-2510 printer that I really liked, but had died. The ML-2010 was a little slower, but I got it because I could use up the toner cartridges I had purchased for my ML-2510. I only paid about $40. This used printer was shipped with the toner cartridge inside, so there lots of the toner had spilled into the printer. After cleaning it up and running numerous smudged pages, the printer worked okay.
Summary: It maybe pretty good but the ink is more expensive than the printer itself. I recommend you getting those universal ink refill kits that are like 10 dollars on ebay. I consider this as value wise for laser printers very cheap. If you want just a laser printer and don't really care about the quality than get this. Pros: cheap, ink lasts long cons: it's pretty slow and quite noisy, and a extremely power drainer... even my lights flicker when i turn it on.
Summary: This is my second ML-2010. I used my first one daily for a few years and it never gave me a problem. Then why did I get rid of it? Because I trusted it enough to pass it on to one of my daughters. The most recent one is actually used and has already printed over 9000 pages without a problem and I trust it will keep on keeping on. The Samsung ML-2010 is fairly compact for a laser printer and is quite attractive.
