Samsung ML-2010 Laser Printer

25 July 2014
  • Excerpt: We have been using this printer in our office for 3 years already. We bought it because the computer shop recommended it to us. What I like about the printer is that it’s heavy duty; it prints very fast although for the first page, it warms up …

cheap printing

blems, Ebay
22 May 2012
  • Summary: reliable printer; cheap toner; cartridge accepts 2 refills; roller lasts for about 5000 pages, but then you can put a piece of electrical tape under the rubber ring to fix that.

Okay printer but not recommended

mazymynx, Ebay
9 April 2012
  • Summary: I purchased this used printer to replace my ML-2510 printer that I really liked, but had died. The ML-2010 was a little slower, but I got it because I could use up the toner cartridges I had purchased for my ML-2510. I only paid about $40. This used printer was shipped with the toner cartridge inside, so there lots of the toner had spilled into the printer. After cleaning it up and running numerous smudged pages, the printer worked okay.

"Update on February 15, 2011 review"

R. E. McKinley, CNET
14 September 2011
  • Pros: Since fixing the jamming problem this printer has proven to be a dependable office workhorse. Economical to operate.
  • Cons: Not a good printer for marketing product, but plenty good for instruction sheets and office transmittals.

"Apparently, what you pay is what you get."

Itamar1964, CNET

  • Pros: it is a Xerox printer. Supplies are available and relatively cheap. Small and fits almost everywhere. Nice design.
  • Cons: This is most definitely not a printer for a SOHO business. Quality of printing is low. Almost impossible to access into it and pull out paper getting stuck.

"What the hey!! constant paper jams."

remckinley, CNET
15 February 2011
  • Pros: Economy, speed (once it warms up and starts printing) good clear print that won't run if water is spilled on it and trouble free (when it's not jamming.)
  • Cons: It has a tendancy to have paper jams for no apparent reason. I think this is a "first model" and the bugs were not completely worked out before putting to market. I think the timing is a little to close on the pickup to the main feed roller.

"Hello, can I give zero star to this printer?"

syliew5555, CNET
16 September 2010
  • Pros: Basic features, which all the basic printers should have, nothing much to mention.
  • Cons: It jams, and always jams. This is terribly annoying. I hated to register an online account, but I would not mind doing so if I could give a zero star to this printer as I hate this printer even more.

"Best printer I ever worked with"

SomeHobo, CNET
19 January 2010
  • Pros: Despite other reviews, I personally never had paper jams. It prints quickly and nicely, it fits well on the desk because it's not overly bulky and I had no problem connecting using XP, OSX and Ubuntu.
  • Cons: None that I can think of.
