Summary: This was a used printer so it had issues, but the seller made me happy about the purchase. They were very fair. I already had a printer just like this one but since I like this printer so well I wanted to get another one.
Summary: Even with toner savings mode turned off and dark turned up all the way, it's still too light. Yes, I've tried 1 2nd cartridge, namebrand. Just having to turn the toner saver off and select dark means every single printout you have to click-click-click. The paper just hangs out, bent, and over time gets permanently bent. The plastic holders are exposed and break easily.
Summary: I purchased this used printer to replace my ML-2510 printer that I really liked, but had died. The ML-2010 was a little slower, but I got it because I could use up the toner cartridges I had purchased for my ML-2510. I only paid about $40. This used printer was shipped with the toner cartridge inside, so there lots of the toner had spilled into the printer. After cleaning it up and running numerous smudged pages, the printer worked okay.
Summary: I purchased this printer when it was brand new about 6 years ago (give or take). I used this printer extensively. I am a mortgage closer and I am printing 100+ page documents all day long. This machine can handle it. It is fast and efficent even while printing on legal paper. I purchased a Canon ImageClass MF 8050 Color laser to replace the Samsung (nothing was wrong with it, I just assumed I would upgrade because of the bulk of printing I was doing) Bad decision.
Summary: I have owned the ML-2010 for 4yrs and bought 3 toner cartridges for it so I have printed 1000's of sheets. It's a budget printer and does not print as clear as the professional Cannon units we have at work but its perfect for home use and I have never had any issues with quality of prints. My kids use it for school and I use it for email or whatever. I have got good use out of this machine and it was well worth the $99 I paid 4 yrs ago.
