Summary: The Samsumg CLP510 has turned out to be an outstanding find. Colors are crisp; quality is good. Cost per page is significantly cheaper than inkjet, and a lot better quality. Not only that, but to be able to print front and back with the duplex function - what a great added bonus! Thrilled with Overstock service on the purchase and the product. Exceeded my expectations. Thanks, O!
Summary: The printer I received was a re-certified model. When I first opened it up, it was very dirty with dried up old toner. Before doing anything, I used some clorox wipes to clean out the inside of the printer. The toners were very easy to install. The yellow toner I received was also filthy. I just dusted it off with a paper towel. After putting everything together (maybe 5 minutes) - I tested printing.
Good printer, self refilling is possible makes it very cost effective

Summary: This printer is rather slow to become a workgroup laser printer for BW printing, but I would consider good for colour printing. and unfortunately only have USB as it's connection, no WIFI or LAN. Toner refill is good provided that you do your own research on the internet and perform your own refill, pretty much, it will safe you heaps of dollars. If you can get a bargain on the 2nd hand product, this is one good and cost effective piece of machine.
Summary: I have had a Sumsung CLP-510 for a small year now and use it in a small business/home office environment. My reason to buy this printer was that it provided duplex colour printing for a very good price. And that's exactly what it does. I read a lot of technical docs and printing four A4 pages of text per sheet of paper has saved me a mountain of paper and shelf space already. Printing speed is good and the quality of text and graphics is good enough for business use.
Excerpt: I was told not to use a colour laser printer under a £1000 for high quality colour prints. So my expectation was not high. Why did I buy it? I print a residents newsletter once a quarter about 6 sides and 450 -500 copies, besides personal printing items. Being a laser I am worry about the right type of paper for printing so I have not yet a year in used it for glossy photo paper.
Excerpt: I've had my CLP 510 from Samsung for just on 12 months so I feel I have gotten to know it quite well...in this time, I've only printed a total of 13,576 pages - thats the TOTAL from 12 months of use, NOT per month - this is very light use. I mainly use it for printing text with graphics included on the same page...not photos, just drawings etc.
Summary: The CLP-550N was at such a competitive price I hunted for it with 3 of my suppliers - and 7 weeks later there were still no confirmed stock of the printer. I eventually opted for the CLP-510, but I imagine the 510, 510N, 550 and 550N are all the same printer but with NICs and more memory. Toms Hardware had this rated very well and I read some other reviews that gave this printer a good rating.
Summary: Ich nutze den Drucker seit ca 2007 Jahren beruflich.
