I love this printer

Kevin "Kevin", Amazon
15 July 2014
  • Summary: I love this printer. Shopped around and decided to go with this model for the features and price point. Prints clean sharp text and the color is great. Got tired of dealing with ink jet printers and the heads drying out, and the cost of the ink cartridges. Sure laser costs a lot more, but it's worth it to me to have a printer that will always print when I need it to print, versus wondering if the heads are clogged again.

This is a very nice printer that has an incredibly quick and easy setup

Terry Mesnard, Amazon
8 July 2014
  • Summary: This is a very nice printer that has an incredibly quick and easy setup. I was up and wirelessly printing in a matter of minutes. Toss the CD into the drive, hook the printer up with the included printer cable for a one-time wireless set up and then you're good to go. In terms of ease setting things up, it wasn't as easy as the Epson WorkForce WF-7520 that had a lot more control options on the actual printer.

A good, office-size color printer

YA book lover, Amazon
23 June 2014
  • Summary: I don’t run a business, so I don’t have high printing needs, just some random coupons, etc. here and there, so pardon me for not having tested all the features of this printer yet. There are many other reviews that can answer your other questions about this product. This is an office-size printer with a high quality of prints. I can easily compare it to my older printer/scanner/fax combo, and this Samsung prints MUCH faster and with much better quality.

Cranks, but I dread the day the toner runs out

Fry Boy, Amazon
21 June 2014
  • Summary: This printer was fairly impressive. Setup with my desktop replacement using the supplied CD and USB cable. The printer spews out text and low-grade graphics documents (e.g. boarding passes) at a max clip of 19 pages per minutes. A cool toner-saving print utility (Easy Eco) optionally executes with each print job, allowing you to forgo the printing of graphics, color and even text.

Huge Printer, Works Well

Colinda "L.S.W.", Amazon
20 June 2014
  • Summary: I've had laser printers and color printers but not a color laser printer. It certainly is big! I was surprised by how heavy it is and how much space it takes up. I set it up using my Macbook and ran into some problems. I followed the instructions, which first involved a series of pictures . I would have liked more text with them. Then for the software part, I was referred to the manual, a file that comes on the installation disk.

Same Setup Issues as Other Samsung

Lightning Rod "TM", Amazon
17 June 2014
  • Summary: This is my second Samsung laser and I noticed the same issues: it has a hard time being set up wirelessly (via USB was fine). Having said that, after some time and working with my laptop, I was able to get it set up. Once I did, it was good to go! The quality of the print is sharp, precise and bright. I compare it to my Brother machine and am very pleased with it. It doesn't print photos as well as I'd like, but that's typical of lasers (stick to inkjets for photos).

High quality color printing, with wireless simplicity

Nathan Webster, Amazon
13 June 2014
  • Summary: Set-up was fairly easy, and I used the disk to install the software on my Windows 8 computer. I had no glitches, and with minimal time spent the printer was up and running. Printing text is very quick. I printed a 35 mpg PDF, and it took about 15 seconds to download the file, send it to the printer and then start printing. The printing part is very quick. But, if you have a big color PDF job, or pictures, etc., it will take a little bit of time to begin the job.

Instant Image

Suzinne Barrett "Suzinne", Amazon
2 June 2014
  • Summary: I'll just echo what other reviewers are saying - this printer just shoots out your print in seconds! Actually 16. For reference, have been using two upscale Canon wide format printers and, the prints took a long time to process. And for the price and over time, the resulting images weren't all to my liking.
