Samsung just doesn't understand software
Brian Bailey, Amazon
Summary: This is the worst printer I have ever owned. The first unit I had had alignment problems. I worked with the Samsung support period for over an hour and the best they could come up with was the machine needed cleaning. I sent them an image of the page that came out of the printer and they even asked for a clearer image so they could see the problem. What a laugh - the image was fuzzy because that was the problem! It was all a waste of time.
Razor and Blade Pricing: New toners cost more than the printer

Summary: Saw this on sale for $199. Very impressed with the specs and was ready to buy. Then noticed it only included half-full starter cartridges and that a set of low-capacity replacements would cost more than the printer. So you buy it, quickly run out of toner, and then have to "rebuy" the printer again...and again... So I passed on this "great deal".
Summary: Spent a couple of days searching the Internet trying to find if any one else was having problems with this printer adding about an inch to the top margin and cutting off the bottom print. I have tried printing on several different computers WinXP/7/8, MacOSX, and even the DEMO Print from the printer itself still shifts the print downwards. Tried various paper sizes all ending with the same effect. Installed the latest drivers and firmware (SyncThru Update Wizard).
Summary: Not a good printer.. Problems right out of the box..way worse than my old CLP 300.. Wont do double sided printing w/o wrecking the paper.. When it feels like it..it starts bleeding inks..onto the prints..just simple stuff..it ruins.. Live with it for awhile..and you will begin to really dislike this one..works for a time..then the problems begin..all within a few months of use.. Poor quality overall.. We just needed a basic reliable printer.
Summary: Purchased this printer new and could not set up the wireless with the software provided. I kept getting an error message that the internet cable was plugged into the machine and it was not. I contacted Samsung support and they were able to take over the screen on my computer and see it remotely. After 2 hours they could still not get the wireless drivers and software to load correctly, thus they told me my printer was defective.
Summary: My CLP415NW has worked correctly only 1 month during the last 10 months (the printer is still guarantee). The customer service don't want to take his responsibility on the failure of this product. I heard from SAMSUNG : "A toner at 27% must be replaced.". That's not fair...
Summary: Our first unit arrived Tuesday as expected. Followed the instructions, powered it up and it made a terrible noise, like grinding gears. An error message displayed on the LCD display A1-4111 - Call Service. Amazon arranged for another delivery and pick up of the first unit. Second unit arrived today and the experience was identical. This one is going back tomorrow and I'm done with Samsung. Deserves 0 stars.
Spotty wireless, toner issues, Mac OS X is no-go, major headache
John "John", Amazon

Summary: Bottom Line: This model is extremely unreliable and has quality control issues. Samsung printer warranty service is very poor -- I paid $61.80 to ship this $250 printer to a warranty repair center in Long Beach, CA, ***while the printer was still in warranty!***. Think manufacturers ought to provide at least a return shipping label or reimburse that cost? Not so, according to Samsung customer service.
Summary: Good first - if and when it prints, it comes out very nice for a color laser. But, it jammed after printing out maybe 6 pages, was impossible to remove the jam - you can see it but the roller area cannot e opened. I returned to Amazon, and they immediately replaced, as always. Good? No, the second one lasted for 3 prints, then jammed the same way, cannot remove the jam, and the paper try will no longer close.
Summary: I don't even want to give it 1 star. This machine is worthless. I had it 2 weeks and it never worked right. Samsung sent a tech to my office to fix it, and even he said send it back: which I just did today. 1. The wireless wi-fi, as reported by others, never works. It's some sort of software/hardware disaster. Tech replaced the Mother Board and Wireless board. Nothing worked. It's junk. 2. It has a Toner Waste container that randomly reads full. Guess what?
