Summary: I have owned this printer for almost 3 years now and it has performed flawlessly the whole time. It was originally bought for printing uni work and proved very cost effective and good quality. It is not a photo printer so if that is what you want to use it for then don't bother look at something else but, for a general purpose office or home printer this is flaw less!
Summary: I really liked this printer and it worked perfectly with my very old computer. But when that computer finally conked out after 12 years, it did not work with my new ApplyMac. As I bought a wireless keyboard and mouse, as I don't like using trackpads and find the keyboard on laptops too flat, I decided that it was time to get a wireless printer.
Summary: I bought this printer over a year ago and have been using it in my home office since. I really cannot fault it. The print speed is good, quality is excellent and a year later I'm still working on the orignal toner cartridge. For an inexpensive but good quality home printer, I wouldn't look elsewhere. So glad I don't have an annoying inkjet any more with paper jams, cartridges that don't last long and average print quality.
Summary: This printer has been in production for a couple of years now, but, according to their web page, has just been discontinued by Samsung. This may explain why the last examples are being sold at a nice discount on what was already an amazingly low price for a colour laser printer. If you shop around you may get one for under £60.... Given the horrendous costs of replacement toner cartridges, that at least goes some way to reducing the pain when you do run out of toner.
Summary: My mum is a keen crafter and she uses her computer to print items for her cardmaking. The print quality obtained from this printer is excellent, but renewing the toners costs more than twice the price of the printer. It works out cheaper to buy a new printer, than to replenish the toners - insane.
Summary: This printer was an absolute dream to install onto my "Windows 7 Professional" home network and works perfectly. It took 5 mins to unpack/plug up and then a further 5 mins to install drivers and software. (Windows auto setup took care of everything including downloading the latest drivers). 10 mins after opening the box I had printed test pages from all 3 computers on my network using it as a shared printer.
Summary: The printer is as good as it gets for that price. Let's face it, colour laser printers are not the cheap ones to get. Waiting time for a printout depends on the amount of colour, it its just writing - black - the first page usually comes out after 15 seconds for me or so, than following pages are out within 5 seconds or so. Small printer, easy to use, easy to refill the toner if you don't want to spend loads of money like myself.
