  • Pros: Cheap & looks pretty (Oh' look it's shiny factor)
  • Cons: Cheap (you get what you pay for), Slow, 24,000 BK / 6,000 CL duty cycle for the drum unit so after a few colour pages have fun. This printers hidden costs are the waste toner bottle at $15av. & $230Aus for the drum unit.

"Typical Samsung: Works fine initially, then problems"

  • Cons: Broke just after 1-year guarantee and after buying complete set of consumables. Horrible to configure as a wireless network printer. And I'm a qualified systems admin!

  • Cons: infamous "invalid toner" error...lack of SAMSUNG customer service, after numerous calls, and frustration, the "CUSTOMER SERVICE" reps. repeated lying to me about what they were going to do to resolve this issue...

"Horribly Expensive Up-keep"

  • Cons: Up-keep of the printer is too expensive. ie: toner $42 each or more, waste toner cartridge $20 or more, and imaging unit $199 or more!
