Excellent printer, convenient, beautiful quality color.

  • Summary: I have had experience with several (huge) pro clor laser printers, and this gives them a run for the money. It is amazingly small compared to its portable refrigerator counterparts, almost as fast to process a file and as fast to print it, and the quality-with the right paper blows away any inkjet I've used (when they managed to work), and I've owned many.

"Terrific light-use home printer, wireless works perfect"

luigimerrion, CNET
3 January 2012
  • Pros: Wireless allows us to place it in the middle of our house and forget about it (we honestly use it maybe 5-6 times a month total). Toner lasts forever, quality always perfect. We use draft quality to save toner, high for pictures, which all look great
  • Cons: It's a bit bulky. There are complaints about time to warm up, but since we either print from downstairs or upstairs, by the time we walk to the printer, it's not an issue. It's also a bit noisy, but again, low use = no problem.

"I would not wish for anyone to buy this"

tsimon1988, CNET
19 October 2011
  • Pros: Cheap & looks pretty (Oh' look it's shiny factor)
  • Cons: Cheap (you get what you pay for), Slow, 24,000 BK / 6,000 CL duty cycle for the drum unit so after a few colour pages have fun. This printers hidden costs are the waste toner bottle at $15av. & $230Aus for the drum unit.

Excellent product for a small home office environment

  • Summary: I had experience with Samsung products before and I was always satisfied. I like the fact that this printer is compact and yet the toner cartridges seem to last longer. A little disappointing with the speed. In comparison with other laser printers I think this printer reflects a high status.

Decent color laser printer. Pain in the ass wireless MACINTOSH setup!

shop-and-save, Ebay
15 July 2011
  • Summary: I bought this printer because I got an amazing deal for a refurbished wireless color laser printer. It's print quality for text is great, as with most any laser printer. However, graphics quality is average. Nothing to brag about. But I'm not complaining since I expected this. The biggest con of this printer is for Macintosh users. It took me two days to properly configure this printer to work wirelessly with my Mac.

"Absolute piece of junk"

caribconsult, CNET
27 April 2011
  • Pros: Low price, but it shows.
  • Cons: Breaks down easily, doesn't handle card stock (repeated paper jams), tech support is worthless. Mine broke down after 4 months, Samsung sent a beat-up refurbished unit which broke down after 1 month, two trips to the repair shop accomplished nothing. I w

  • Pros: Wireless and small
  • Cons: Imaging unit broke down after a year and the cost to replace the imaging unit costs as much as a new printer.
