Summary: I've had two of these printers. The first lasted a couple of years, and it was cheaper to buy a new one than repair the old one. This one I bought for my wife. These printers are quit and print quality is excellent. They aren't the fastest printers in the world but for most home use they are excellent. They're easy to use, and cost of toner carts is only slightly more than that of an HP inkjet cart.
Summary: Samsung has a "smart panel" utility for this printer off of their website. Levels of toners were more than 60% for each color. The error identified was simply a "toner waste container" issue. After cleaning the container and blowing out the toner dust through out, the printer works fine with great color printing on plain paper.
Great printer, but had to change network WPA2 password

Summary: Once I got the printer connected to my network wirelessly, it was great. The installation instructions were poorly written, and there was a much easier method that support helped me with. Connecting to my network through a cable worked fine, but I had problems connecting wirelessly. The support person could not help me connect to my network wirelessly either. They told me I had to take it in to have the network card exchanged for a new one.
Summary: I've had this printer since just last week and it is working fine. After reading the many user reviews, I was dreading the installation. I found some of the reviewer's information conflicting and or wrong. So here is the complete story of my experience. My objective was to use the printer on my network wirelessly. I installed the printer on two different operating systems on 4 separate computers.
Summary: I was going to wait a little bit longer to write the review for this printer but since Amazon started nagging me to write one so I thought I should write one now.I have noticed that this printer has some negative review on the Amazon and I like to share my view with rest of the future owners. I was shooting for the moon when I bought this printer. I bought this for $240 and now, I saw that Amazon is selling it for $170.
Summary: This is the cheapest full color laser printer I could find. The unit is small and compact. The setup was a little problematic for the wifi network and I ended up connecting it by ethernet cable. The print quality is very good, print speeds are good enough. The toner cartridges seem a little small and the cartridges are not as available as the ones for the CLP 300, making them a little more expensive. Overall, this is a good buy and I'm pleased with the purchase.
Summary: Good Thing: Print Quality is great and looks reliable. So far this printer has been doing a good job, but I heard that the Color cartridges are expensive. So, there should be an easy way to bypass that new cartridge and just refill. Not sure, have to research more.
Summary: I needed a good printer, but nothing incredible. I found this unit, read a few reviews, and bought it. Out of the box to setup was pretty easy, use the included disk and it goes pretty quick. I read some reviews of having issues with the wireless connection. I use three laptops on it and have no problems whatsoever. I do, however, have it connected directly to our wireless router so maybe that has something to do with it.
Summary: Great prints! Good wireless, little prep work need on local network. The Ozone (burnt) smell is not much difference from b&w laser. Printer fix exactly where my old Ink Jet/scanner went, so big hurray for the size! I hear some ppl complain its slow, but it is much faster than my HP Deskjet 6210. Over all, I really want to buy another one for my home office.
