Summary: Slow. Toner doesn't last as one would like. Printing quality is subpar. The wireless connectivity is non-functional. This printer alone would be enough to discourage any future Samsung printer purchases. Avoid
Summary: This printer prints nice when it is working. Most of the time it does not work. It was a major effort to set up and get on line. I bought it so we could print from ipads and mobile devices but it has been the worst printer I have ever owned.
Summary: I really wanted to love this printer... and for a short time, I did. I've had it for a few years, and overall maybe I've run 1500 pages through it. The amount of toner I've had to purchase has been absurdly high, because once a certain page count is hit, the toner cartridge is no longer usable,...
Summary: I have used and loved this printer for a long time now. For the money, it prints decent enough quality and will do photo color images. If you coax it, it will even print on cardstock. Then, a month ago, AT&T finally forced me to convert over from their DSL product to Uverse.
Summary: We buy lots of Samsung stuff. Our experience with this printer has been surprising and disappointing.
Pros: Good quality printing & easy to setup wifi (if you understand the difference between dynamic and static IPs).
Cons: Broken after a year of light use. We've used it so little that three quarters of the original toner remains, and yet the printer has stopped working. Google & the manual say the printer needs to be sent to Samsung for service.
Summary: I felt the need to write an updated review on this printer. I am not impressed with the reliability of the printer; it has overheated twice since I've owned it, a problem I've never had with any other laser printer I've owned.
Pros: Good quality prints for the price...when it works. Easy setup, good looking hardware.
Cons: I've had to send this machine in for service twice since I bought it.
Summary: I take VERY GOOD care of my computer equipment, but to see this machine wearing out so soon is very disappointing. I would recommend purchasing a different Color Laser Printer.
Pros: For a color Laser Printer this thing is very reasonable to operate. Cartridges last a long time. The printing quality is very good, for both black and white AND color. I've learned that Laser's can't match Inkjets as far as color printing is concerned, but this machine did a very decent job. Warm...
Cons: Recently it started acting up, and the well known "Dev Home Error" started to happen. I took it apart and found how cheaply made this machine is. Squeaks and grinding noises were coming from several worn plastic shafts, bearings, and cams riding on metal followers that were wearing out (plastic d...
Summary: Samsung service is a mixed bag they could not tell me anything about my printer after 2 months at their facility, they replaced it with the non wireless model. This printer has failed too with the same problem. They have agreed to extend my warranty but have not put it in writing as requested. In 4...
Pros: Great price at newegg for a laser color printer, small footprint and wireless connectivity.Text is sharp and color is good.
Cons: The paper tray is flimsy and doesn’t hold enough sheets. I was only able to print 50 sheets before the printer streaked and could not print anything in the streak area again.Samsung replaced with the similar model clp-315 no wireless feature this was after 3 months in service at their facility.Th...
Cons: After hours, over the course of several days with Tech support this printer will not work wirelessly with MAC airport. By Samsung’s own (tech support) admission this printer will only work wirelessly about half of the time with a Mac system. Well I have two Mac’s an Imac osx 10.6 and a Mac book o...
