The Samsung CLP-315W is a fancy looking wireless laser printer with a clean design and small footprint, but the output quality is unacceptable and the blisteringly slow speeds will have you searching for other options. Read more

This very inexpensive color laser printer from Samsung will fit the bill for small and home offices that need sharp and clear color prints. It's quiet but not all that fast, which isn't a major issue unless you need to print a lot. A networkable version (not tested) adds a level of convenience. It's not as stylishly futuristic as some of Samsung's other recent offerings, but it has a very small footprint. All in all, a good entry-level color laser printer. Read more

  3. Samsung CLP-315W Color Laser Printer Review

As far as control buttons and dials go, the Samsung has a stop button on top and a power switch on the rear. Period. The former serves various functions in addition to canceling a print job, such as printing a network configuration report with an alarming amount of information when pressed and held down. The CLP-315W offers a generally excellent out-of-the-box experience. Ethernet or USB 2.0 users can simply plug the printer into an office network or a PC, respectively,... Read more

  1. Awful, awful experience

Awful, awful experience. Went through one toner cartridge then imaging drum broke. Samsung refused to replace it even though they had, evidently, experienced this problem. First tech said they would extend warranty and service people would call the next day. Two days later, they changed their mind. Complete jerks and $200 printer lasted less than a year and a half. Buy only if you are glutton for punishment or if you are in need for printer-shaped doorstop. In this... Read more

" If your looking for a printer that delivers what it advertises, then the CLP-315W is just what your looking for. The wireless set up is easy if you just follow the included instructions. (Honest) The print quality is excellent, it's as good or better than our extremely expensive printer-copier at work. I have read a few reviews where people weren't happy with the print quality of this machine, I really can't understand why! Yes, the color copies are a little slow, but... Read more

Highly recommended for the home office. Small size, quiet operation, good image quality, incredibly inexpensive. Hard to go wrong with this printer. I hope it lasts as long as my 15 year old B/W HP 4L Laserjet that is still kicking. Read more

I bought this from the recent SITEX 2008. I feel $348 for a wireless colour laser printer is good value. It has a small form-factor for its class, looks great in black, strong wifi connection (it is placed in the weakest wifi spot in my house yet it connects and stays connected each time I power it on), adequate print speed, good print quality for my use and tolerable power-up time. However, the documentation that came along with it was wholly insufficient for the wifi... Read more
