Replacement Samsung CLP-300 Color Laser Printer works perfect, flawlessly!!

bobneth, Ebay
9 June 2013
  • Summary: I purchased this CLP-300 to replace one that I purchased new 5 years ago. Even though this printer does not have built-in Wifi connectivity, I was able to first find a Linksys wireless print server compatible win Windows XP. After I switched to Windows 7, 64 bit PC's, I was to find Win 7 compatible wireless print server. The CLP-300 that I puchased on eBay is working perfectly.

  • Summary: Wanted a color laser printer to replace inkjet that was always going dry from infrequent use. The Samsung clp 300 fill the bill. I am able to get all 4 color cartridges for less than ink jet cartridges.

Great value!

fixittechsuite, Ebay

  • Summary: I have 6 of these printers. The toner is dirt cheap and it's easy to swap parts between printers if one breaks. They usually crap out on me after printing about 25,000 pages.

"Cheap, quiet, and does its job well."

shibbeler, CNET
3 August 2010
  • Pros: Cheap "compatible" toner works great in this machine ($10 or less per color!) Quiet - great for a small office where silence is golden.
  • Cons: Color image quality is sub-par. Paper "cassette" has small paper capacity.

  • Summary: I am the newsletter editor for my trike chapter and it is perfect. The toner is inexpensive and the printer does everything I need. My inkjet was just too costly to print the newsletter.

"Amazing for the price"

jbarelli, CNET
31 December 2009
  • Pros: Decent color, clean B&W, relatively inexpensive toner, especially if you use non-OEM toner.
  • Cons: The drum is only good for about 20000 pages. It's almost cheaper to replace the whole printer than to replace the drum, even at normal retail prices, and I've seen these printers for sale (remanufactured) for less than the cost of a new drum.

kenpatj417, Ebay
7 August 2009
  • Summary: I have a Samsung CLP-300 Printer that I bought 2 years ago from Staples and I have been so happy with it that I have been considering buying one as a gift for a friend from EBAY but as yet I have not done so. I love the low operating cost and the ease of changing the toner cartridges .The printer is very quiet and easy to use and maintain, I have bought several generic toner cartridges through EBAY and as yet I have had trouble with only one cartridge, it worked OK but...
