Summary: This is a typical Polaroid blunder so what's new!!! They advertise this works using Bluetooth with your smart phone. NO APPLE IPHONE WORK WITH THIS DEVICE! Unfortunately Polaroid fails to mention this when listing specs.
Summary: The number one selling smartphone in the world, the largest market share of any individual smartphone (not OS) and its incompatibility is conveniently left out of the product description. The problem is that Polaroid are using an open bluetooth protocol which Apple 'claim' inherently makes it less secure. It may hurt sales but just say it doesn't work with it, at least then you don't burn a bridge with a customer forever. At least I got my money back I guess...
Summary: I ordered this as a gift for my mother. Unfortunately, although it says "works with most mobile phones", it DOES NOT work with iPhones. (Websites that say it works all require a jailbroken iPhone, which I'm not willing to do for my mother's phone.) This should be clearly stated in the description. Returning and buying something else that will work with her phone.
Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER IF YOU INTEND TO USE IT WITH YOUR IPHONE. It does not work. Polaroid says that the Bluetooth it uses is not supported by Apple. THIS SHOULD BE MADE VERY VERY CLEAR in the product description. We now have a kid with a product received for Christmas that DOES NOT WORK nor WILL IT EVER WORK. Because it is Christmas, the packaging is missing after opening and so we CANNOT return it.
Summary: Out of frustration I say: "This is the dumbest product of an awesome idea" This does not connect wirelessly to a mac or an iPhone. To be able to print and get the 'old school' look, you have to use their crappy software. The printer has been collecting dust since April 2012.
Summary: Are they crazy, or just plain silly? Why would you possibly make a product like this that doesn't work with the World's number one selliing mobile phone? Leave it up to a company that the digital age has completely passed by to do this. They could have made it work ONLY on the iPhone and it would have soled twice as many. Good grief.
Summary: I just received this today. I'm glad I checked it out before giving it to my husband. The printer would not connect to the computer. After waiting 25 minutes on hold with Polaroid they just told me to return it. Also, it's nearly impossible to find the link for the computer software on the website. Don't bother looking for any instructions online either. To connect to the computer you need a USB to USB cable. This is not supplied and they are hard to find.
Summary: I had considerable difficulty finding the PC software for this device. It is located on the Polaroid website, but it is not easy to find. (Incidentally, it is located here: [...] ). The PC software has a poor user interface. When finding photos, the program's interface does not follow the Windows Explorer framework. It provides a built-in file tree limiting access to files located in "lettered drives" (example: "C:", "D:", or "E:").
Summary: I bought this so we could blow up pictures that we wanted to blow up in conjunction with the polaroid camera we bought but no way to do that. The camera is battery operated and does not have a plug in cord to attach to printer. I was sorely upset.
