Summary: I've only had a month or so experience with it, but it seems rugged and well designed from what I can see. The specs mention that it can accept up to 65 lb card stock where no other printer in this price range would. I printed 100 or so pages so far with the 65 lb card stock I bought at Office Depot and it turned out beautiful prints. The only problem is that I don't think it supports full duplex printing without an upgrade, but still..
Summary: I like the color and print quality of Okidata printers but they can be very temperamental about the replacement cartridges they accept. I tried using the much more affordable "after market" cartridges and the printer refused to recognize them. Given the cost difference it is enough to force me to conclude that I will not purchase an Okidata printer again.
Summary: I just received this printer today and sadly I have to return it. When I print the cardstock from the multipurpose tray, it curls the paper in the middle. If it just curled the paper on the end, I would keep it. I just cannot send my clients curled paper. I'm sad but I will be getting the C531DN model so hopefully this will be better.
Excerpt: This printer went on sale and it was pretty much a steal. Printed postcards that I had trouble with using a Ricoh, HP and canon. The color on this is great too but not sure how true to life it is but it's pretty good compared to the brother and canon printers we have. Great color I guess for a laser. The other thing that is really good is the 3year warranty for repairs (even though you need to bring it in) and the 5 years for the print head.
Excerpt: I purchased the Oki C331dn Color Laser Printer from Staples and it arrived on September 11, 2014.It is a great printer. Once it starts up, it prints quickly and the print quality is excellent! It works great as a workgroup printer and the automatic duplexing is wonderful.
Summary: I've gont thru 4 Okidata printers and each one was like the last, nearly bulletproof. this one had one or two issues initially, it was real slow (like 5-7 minutes slow) to print docs with large jpeg images in them and the "auto detect" function for the multi-purpose tray didn't detect when it was open with paper in it. But colors, resolution etc were outstanding.
